Chapter 1: The Vision and The Noose

Alice's POV:

I still can't believe that Edward would leave Bella. I told him she wouldn't take it well. He just sits in his room and listens to her lullaby. It's pathetic and depressing.

Bella was hanging from a branch on a young tree, in the baseball meadow. She had a look of great peace on her face. She whispered "I will see you in Hell some day, Edward; I hope you find my corpse hanging from this tree. I'm not sorry."

I wasn't thinking, and I was in the area. I ran to the meadow. I had to save Bella, my best friend.

Bella's POV:

I bought the noose, picked the tree. I made a bag, it was tied to my wrist.

Flash back Fife Months Ago

"Bella," Edward had said. "Bella. I don't love you any more. I found a better woman. She's beautiful, smart, kink, complex, funny, loveable, and a vampire, every thing your not."

"You… don't love me any more?"

"I never have, Bella, you were only ever a game, a toy, and indulgence at best," He sounded sincere. "We're leaving, take care of your self. Did I mention that I don't love you?"

End flashback.

Oh well, be happy Edward. I will take care of myself, by ending my misery.

As I went to tighten the noose around my neck, a black blur ran into the clearing, about four and a half feet of the ground. Oh, great, I'm going to be eaten be a wild animal. I shut my eyelids tight.

I opened them again and Alice Cullen was standing under me with a murderous look on her face.

"Oh, shit,"

"Oh, shit is right Bella,"
