Annabeth couldn't keep herself from falling into shock. How was she still here when Thlia wasn't? It's just... Not fair! Why isn't anything the same anymore? It's almost like she, Annabeth, is deteriorating.

Annabeth's POV

Playground school bell rings again
Rain clouds come to play again
Has no one told you she's not breathing?

Why is everything fine? Thalia's gone and no one cares! The conch horn went off like it always does! And the rainclouds always came. It seemed like no one was notified that she, as in Thalia, wasn't breathing.
