Immortal

«What is Immortality?», the question is always there.

Is it when you keep on living and living till the end of time?

Is it when you can t stop dieing over and over again, being born over and over again.

Is it when you die and when your friends bring you back to life?

Is it when you die again, but can t?

Is it when you face your greatest fear and stay in the memory of the world, forever…?

But what fear do I have if I m not afraid to die?

We re face to face

Loyalty is where I need to see from you

You re insecure

I can see the fear that breathes in your heart

How can I face my fears if I have no fears?

How can I make it all go away? How can I make them stop bothering me?

Don t they see?

I need no one.

And I don t need them. I m in this alone. Always was. They abandoned me every chance they got.

And these people call themselves my friends. Miserable.

Don t they see?

I need no one. And no one I shall have.

Because I am just too strong, just too much for anyone to handle.

I am the slayer, the vampire slayer. A killer.

Before…I couldn t say that, I couldn t admit it to myself, but that is what I truly am, I am a killer. I kill living beings, they are evil, but they are living even if their hearts don t beat.

I am a hunter.

This is a term that I used to use sometimes because it wasn t crude like «killer». But it s almost the same thing.

What does a hunter do to it s prey when it s finnaly caught?

Where will you run?

Where will you hide?

I see the blood drip from your eyes.

Who will survive?

I know who I am.

I know who you are.

I am the Slayer. I am the one that is immortal.

There isn t a vampire on the whole world that could outlive me, the memory, the legend of me.

The leader of lost souls.

That is how I now know what I must do.

I must ask myself a question.

Who are you?

Where do you come from?

Will you survive?

Who are those that came before you?

Where are they now?

How did they die?

How will you die?

And from my answers I will know one more thing that I need to know.

I will know what to do.
