No Ends

A/N: Note that this one-shot story has spoilers from Fairy Tail's latest chapter (Chapter 337) and if you don't want to read it that's fine. Those who do read it, I hope that this story was satisfying. This story is just based off my thoughts after I read the chapter. For those of you who read my other story, Cresselum, I'm going to be updating it more often, due to summer vacation. I hope you look forward to that.

There was a tingling and warm feeling in Lucy's body. She knew that she was already dead, but she didn't expect for death to be so . . . peaceful.

Lucy opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was a blue and pink sky with no clouds in sight. Blue and pink . . . it reminded her of the colors she saw. In the past, present and future. The colors that she met. The colors that she lost. The colors she saw before death.

Lucy slowly sat herself up. She felt . . . whole. Like the scars and wounds from battle were never marked onto her body in the first place.

Lucy looked around. Her eyes widened at what she saw. Golden plains were surrounding her, blowing softly in a light breeze that was passing. But there wasn't anyone else on the plains. It was just her.

"Where . . . am I?" Lucy asked herself.

Lucy hadn't noticed it until now, but she realized that she could feel the breeze on her back. It took a moment for her to realize that she was in her old clothes again. Everything from her shirt, to her boots. She was no longer in the black cloak that she had brought with her into the past. The only thing that was missing was her belt with her celestial keys and whip.

Lucy stood up. Another breeze passed by again, and she held up her right hand to keep her hair from getting in her face. Lucy looked around again, hoping to catch a glimpse of someone or anything really. Being alone was one of her worst fears. She had always heard when she was younger that when you die and ascend into heaven, your loved ones would come for you. But where was her mother? Her father? Where were the people she loved and cared about the most?

As if on cue, a voice spoke directly behind Lucy. "Hey Lucy!"

Lucy's body froze. That voice . . . she knew that voice anywhere. She had heard it so many times throughout her life. She slowly turned around.

"Get over here already!" he called. Lucy was shocked. Tears started to flow down her face. Standing right behind her was Natsu. He still looked the same. From his pink hair, to his white scarf.

"Everyone's here waiting!" Happy exclaimed. The tiny blue exceed had appeared in the air, his white wings already spread out behind him.

Without her noticing, Natsu had already grabbed her right wrist and was already dragging her towards a group of people. Lucy realized with shock that it was everyone else from Fairy Tail, waiting for her to come and rejoin them. Erza, Gray, Wendy and everyone else was standing there; smiling at her, beckoning for her to come. Lucy looked at her right hand. Her eyes widened when she saw her pink Fairy Tail guild stamp. Right where it belonged.

"Now . . . let's continue our adventure." Natsu grinned as he led Lucy towards their group of friends. Happy followed them as they were coming closer and closer to all of their friends.

Lucy still felt the tears flowing out of her eyes, but they weren't tears of sadness. They were tears of joy. "Yeah." Lucy smiled.

Lucy realized that she didn't need to feel lonely anymore. Because now, she had her friends by her side again.

They would always travel together, laugh together, cry together, and do everything together.

Even if they were separated, they would still eventually get back together.

Because their times together were infinite.

Because their friendships were unbreakable.

Because their adventures together had no ends.
