A/N: Hey guys! Sorry I've been pretty much dormant for the past however-many months. I recently have gotten over a rather difficult time in my life, and what a better place to turn to than the world of books and writing! I can't promise that I'll be back in full swing yet, but I do plan on posting a lot of things like this in the next few weeks.

Please Enjoy! And if you're only reading this because you get Author Alerts from me, than make sure to take some time to read The Ascendance Trilogy by the amazing Jennifer Nielsen. Seriously, these books are phenomenal and so underrated. I highly recommend them to anyone who loves books.

Stability

Being with Tobias was the easiest thing Amarinda ever had to do. With him, there was no expectation to be perfect, no standard that she had to live up to. He never wanted her to be anything other than herself, and for someone who constantly had to be whatever others told her to be, Tobias' unconditional love was a great relief.

Infallible

Tobias learned very quickly that Amarinda had an argumentative side to her. Not being one to enjoy arguing about silly things such as a misplaced shoe, Tobias often found himself muttering the phrase, "You're right, love. You're always right."

Oral

When Amarinda was twelve and chipped her tooth, the nursemaids told her that her husband would never want to kiss her with broken teeth in her mouth. Tobias always said that her uneven smile was one of his most favorite things about her.

Choir

Whenever he and Amarinda would kiss, and he could feel her smiling into his lips, Tobias would swear he was in heaven. He could almost hear the saints singing of loves like theirs.

Earning

"I don't know what I ever did to deserve you, because I honestly don't think that I do. But I do know that I am going to spend the rest of my life proving to you that maybe some fraction of me does. I will never stop trying to win you over."

"Oh, Tobias. You already have."

Man

Tobias was never the strongest or bravest warrior in Carthya, and he was reminded of this fact constantly. But when Amarinda would take his hand during times of trouble, he finally felt like he could take on armies.

Shock

Amarinda didn't really understand Tobias' sheer surprise and amazement when she told him the good news. After all, he was a physician; he should have at least a general idea as to how a woman becomes pregnant.

Sunrise

The morning after they had been told that Jaron was dead, the two of them were awakened to the most vivid sunrise ever seen in Avenia. Amarinda thought it was a sign of hope that maybe, in this time of darkness, everything would be alright. Tobias couldn't stop staring at the way the morning light shined off the princess's hair to notice anything remarkable about the sky itself.

Refrain

Amarinda's favorite thing in the world was watching Tobias as he read. She was absolutely in love with the way his brows furrowed together, his lips pursued in concentration, and how he mouthed along very softy to the words as he read them. It was all she could do to stop herself from tearing the book right out of his hands and kissing him right then.

Chosen

As Tobias held Amarinda in his arms the night of their wedding, he still couldn't believe that someone as perfect and wondrous as her had said yes to marrying him. Amarinda couldn't believe that someone so astoundingly wonderful and kind-hearted had even asked her in the first place.
