"Ichinose-san." Haruka called for the idol, the last one to leave, and he stopped, turning back to look at her. Her lips pursed together as she looked at him, she wanted to go with. Haruka wanted to be there when they caught up with Otoya, she wanted to help them convince him to come home. If she did that though surely she would fall behind with the music she had to write, but then she wondered if she'd be able to get anything done if she tried to compose.
He seemed to understand what she was struggling to ask, giving a small half smile. "Nanami-san, can you stay here? Incase we end up missing that idiot and he comes home first."
Green eyes blinked and the composer frowned a little at the idol. Did he really think that Otoya would come back while they were going out to get him? Wouldn't he have done so by now? Tokiya shrugged his shoulders in response to the look, as if replying that anything was possible.
"Oi Tokiya-!" Both of them turned to look at the bus hearing Syo's call, only to see the other retreating quickly back inside of it.
Tokiya sighed, but reached out a hand to rest on Haruka's shoulder, getting her to look at him again. "I'll bring him home." He promised her for a second time, and again Haruka found herself wondering how much of this incident he blamed on himself.
Haruka sighed as her gaze drifted down in a bit of defeat for a moment, maybe this was something the guys had to figure out themselves after all…
"Nanami-san?"
Looking back up, she put on a smile, "I understand, I'll stay here."
Tokiya nodded, and turned to leave, "We'll be going now."
"Have a safe trip."
Author's Note: Wow it's been awhile since I've posted anything here on this website, and when I do it's in a completely different fandom from my previous works.
Ah, well this is something I've actually been holding onto since the end of Utapri's fourth season here. It kind of disappointed me that Haruka didn't go with STARISH to go and bring Otoya back once they figured out where he was. However like with most thing that disappoint me in this series i then though "well what reasons would she have stayed behind?" and here we are. I hope you guys enjoyed this for what ever it's worth.
