"Pacey," she gasps between wonderfully passionate kisses that make her very mind moan and her knees so weak that she's sure she would collapse if she wasn't leaning against him and wrapped in his loving arms. "Pacey!"

His hands smooth over her face, and finally he pauses their liplocking. "What, McPhee?" he asks, mirth dancing in his rich, brown eyes. "Don't tell me you need oxygen," he teases though it's clear he's also gasping for air. He enjoys the soft pink that tinges her delicate cheeks. He draws his thumbs gingerly across their bones, sending even more delicious shivers racing through her.

Her heart pounds in her ears as she gazes up into his loving face and realizes he's right. She doesn't really need to breathe. She just needs him and for this moment to last forever. Breathlessly, she shakes her head. They resume kissing, each hoping their time in love can last forever and their hearts breaking later on each time in their adult lives when they think back to this moment.

They should have lasted forever, but they didn't. Their parting remains the greatest sorrow and regret to each of them until the day Death claims them. They find each other in Heaven, and kiss again.

The End
