Hey everybody! Please Review, Follow, and Favorite! My first story!
The day I wanted to learn how to knit was the day when Robin and I were going to the mall and the rest of the Titans were eating pizza. We walked by a craft store and I saw a hand-knitted mittens and I was curious all about it. "Robin why does this says "hand-knitted"?"I asked I was stretching the mittens and tried them on. "Well, because someone knitted these mittens with there own hands."Robin explained nicely but I was quite curious how they made it with there own hands, like do they knit with there fingers?
"Exactly how Robin? With there fingers? Or maybe with a machinery?"I said very confused He smiled at me "Well you see Starfire they use something called knitting needles and yarn to make various of things that anybody can imagine. Do you want to learn?"Robin asked me and I shooked my head a yes I was very excited Robin was so nice to buy me the knitting needles and a pretty green yarn even though I insisted to buy them but he refused. There was a short class on doing the basics on how to knit and knowing how to handle the yarn, I started struggling but I started to get the hang of it. Robin would always try his best to not look at her while she was learning how to knit, but it was so hard for him to not, she was just too cute when she wanted to learn something new.
When the class ended I had a plastic bag with now two ball of yarn and knitting needles. Robin and I went to the upper level to get food in the court of the food and ate italian food, I never tried it before but Robin wanted me to try the pasta. Robin ordered two Spagetti and meatball, I heard of the food meatball, because Cyborg made a meatball just for me in the tower but I have never heard the meatball. Robin wanted to know how will I react, I grab my fork and I tried to grab the spaghetti but it kept falling.
"Robin, why can't I grab the spaghetti?"I asked him and tried to grab the spaghetti, he closed his eyes and gives me a smile."Starfire, you have to grab the fork like this."Robin said and grabbed my hand and twirled the fork and helped me insert it inside my mouth. I sorta blushed since he had to insert it in my mouth, I mean I could of inserted it in my mouth myself, but I'm not begging not to. The spaghetti tasted delicious and I felt like eating more.
"Its marvelous!"I told to Robin and I learned how to eat a spaghetti and ate a little more. After we ate, we left the mall on Robin's r-cycle and drove back to the tower. No one was there and we sat on the sofa, it was quite."So Starfire, will you uhh, will you." Robin said struggling to ask her the question " Will you knit something for me if you can?"Robin asked blushing pink. " Why certainly, you are my very best friend and I wanted to knit you something in surprise."I answered and poked his cheek, I really wanted to knit something to show him my love for him, but what?
It has been an hour since the rest of the titans came back and I couldn't think of anything to make for Robin, it has to be something that he would always would use and would love. Oh clorbag! What should I make for Robin? Think Starfire! Think. Maybe I need assistants but someone who knows Robin very well, but who? Maybe I should ask my friends, ohh but I shouldn't tell.
