Summary: Naruto, Sakura, and Sai, jump through the forest. They were sent on a mission by Lady Tsunade to transport bugs to an Aburame part of the village. What they don't expect is to run into is Uchiha Sasuke. SasuNaru

~CHAPTER ONE~

They were running for an hour or so.

"Sakura-chan? Can we take a break please?" Naruto whined with a pout.

"I guess it is getting a bit late.." Sakura said looking at the sky. It was roughly 6:00.

"Sai take out the tent. We'll rest here. Here let me help you.." Sakura said.

"I'll go get us some dinner!" Naruto announced.

Sakura rolled her eyes. "Is food all you ever think about?"

Naruto shrugged. Sai watched Sakura rolling her eyes, and quickly wrote something in his notepad.

Naruto and Sakura noticed this but didn't say anything about it. They were starting to get used to this..

Hmm.. Food… Food… Suddenly Naruto stopped his thoughts to see a shimmering lake not too far ahead.

"ALRIGHT! PERFECT! THERE'S GOTTA BE SOME NICE FISH IN THERE!" Naruto said in victory, as he jumped into the water.

He held his breath and went inside.

His eyes caught sight of a nice big fish. He quietly hid behind some seaweed. Once the fish didn't look too suspicious (He too never knew fish could have facial expressions), he pounced on the oblivious fish.

He quickly grabbed the fish by its tail—only to have it being surprisingly pulled back. He noticed a dark outline of a raven-head, pulling on the other side!

Naruto was surprised, and accidentally let go of the only good fish in the lake. The raven-head took the fish up to the surface. Naruto realized he was losing his food, and swam up to the surface with the raven-head, furiously.

When he reached the surface, he saw the person's back toward him as the person tried to control the fish.

Naruto immediately yelled, "Hey give back MY fish!"

The person turned around. "It's not your fish."

Naruto widened his eyes. It was… Sasuke..

WAH?!
