Chapter 1 The Betrayal And lies

PERCY POV

Ihave been running like this for hours by now , but I wantd to get away as far as possible from that godforsaken place I used to call 'HOME'

FLASHBACK

I had been planning to propose to Annabbeth for about 2 months now. I went on a quest to prove to the Olympian Council that I was worthy enough to marry the architect of Olympus (As if helping them win 2 wars was not enough).

I had left camp for the quest about a month ago and I was excited to see my Wisegirl again. For some strange reason everybody but Clarisse and Chriz were avoiding me and giving me mean looks.

" Where's Annabeth ?" I asked Clarisse. Chriz and Clarisse gave each other weird looks but she answered " At the beach" . I headed for the beach 'perfect place for a proposal ' I thought to myself.

When I reached the beach, I saw something that would change my life forever.
