Sirius Black grumbled audibly as he let himself into one of his best friends' house, shutting the door with a bang that resounded into the seemingly empty house.
The pitter patter of small feet alerted him to the impending arrival of his four year old godson, who crashed into his knees with surprising force, sending them both tumbling towards the floor.
'Uncle Padfoot! I missed you!'
Chuckling heartily, Sirius ruffled his godson's messy black locks and lifted him up into a crushing embrace.
'Hey, pup! I missed you too! Now tell me, have you been good for your mum?'
" Yes, Uncle padfoot, and look I got 2 New tooths."
Sirius - chuckles "Its teeth Harry, not tooths.
Can i get something to eat Lily, I'm starving. "
Confused, Lily asks "Starving?! Remus told me you had a whole cake. He even said that he baked it himself? How was it? "
Sirius was almost in tears. "Don't ask... " he replied.
Lily, who couldnt hold it in anymore laughed aloud and said " just give me a minute... "
" Uncle padfoot, you promised to get me chocolate frogs late time. Where are they? " asked Harry to draw attention to himself.
Sirius, who was really very hungry, ignored Harry.
" UNCLE PADFOOT, " shouted Harry "...when will you teach me how to ride a broomstick. You remember your promise, don't you? "
Sirius' stomach grumbled loudly and yet again he ignored Harry as he got lost in his thoughts.
Harry had had enough. He didn't like it when someone ignored him.
" Ahhhhhhhhhhh. Harry, let go!! LET GO! "
Harry smiles to himself and muttered "Uncle moony's speacial trick worked!! "
Sirius was both confused and angry, when he asked "WHAT?"
Lily, who had heard the commotion had come to see what had happened. Shocked to see sirius angry, she asked- "What happened?"
"Ask him!" Sirius grumbled.
"Harry? Go on" Lily said, staring at her only son.
Harry made a puppy face, and replied "Uncle Moony told me once that uncle Padfoot doesn't pay attention when someone talks." Turning to Sirius, he continued, "..so, he told me that if you did the same thing to me,... I just had to...had to..."
Sirius and Lily said " go on.." in unison.
"..I just had to bite your hand...and then you'd listen to me " finished Harry.
As Sirius went out storming and shouting"REMUS!!!!!", Lily was rolling on the floor laughing and a very confused Harry was left staring at the 'grown ups'.
