Nobody can save her she's on her own, Inuyasha went to Kikyo again, and Sango and Miroku along with Kirara are at a village doing an exorcism. Nobody can save her.

Kagome tripped over a tree root that was sticking out of the ground. When Kagome turned around she saw the ogre demon swing his spiked club at her.

When the ogre demon swung his spiked club two of the spikes got her one in her stomach and one in her chest. Being a miko she didn't die instantly.
She quickly notched her arrow and let go and let it soar threw the air with sacred energy surrounding the arrow with a pink glow. Hitting the ogre demon and purifying it.

Kagome slid down on the tree sitting against the base her hands covered her stomach wound her legs were sprawled out. 'Inuyasha, please don't hate me for leaving you, I guess I wasn't strong, like Kikyo,' Kagome thought sadly looking at the sky with tears rolling down her pale cheeks.

'Inuyasha, I hope you know that I …I'll love you forever, I'm sorry I wasn't strong enough for you, I'm sorry,' Kagome thought her eyes getting heavy, am I dying? Yes I'm dying, please don't blame your self Inuyasha. It was my fault not yours.'
The last thing Kagome saw and heard was Inuyasha looking at her with a tear stained face saying ' I'm sorry' of 'Please forgive me' Kagome merely smiled at him " It's okay Inuyasha, I forgive you, and I don't blame you , I want you to know that I … I love y…you," Kagome struggled to stay awake.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome's dead body sadly with tears rolling down his tanish cheeks "Kagome, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry I failed you, I should've stayed by your side." Inuyasha chocked out threw his sobs.
Inuyasha felt a ghostly hand on his face "Inuyasha, stop blaming yourself, I should've been stronger and don't worry I'll wait for you take care of Shippo for me, I love you." Kagome said smiling then turned back to an orb and drifted up to heaven.
"I love you too, Kagome, I'll take care of Shippo for you and I won't go to hell with Kikyo, and I'll miss you." Inuyasha said while picking up her lifeless body caring her back to the village.
