Hello everyone! I hope you enjoy this poem reflecting on the game of Go. I do not own Hikaru no Go in any form. So sad! ;P
The creation of a universe begins with a single stone.
First there is darkness, but what good does pure darkness do?
Then light appears; a white star beckoning for a response.
An answering from ebony's strength instigates a battle of wills with ivory retaliating in kind.
The battle of light and dark scatters across space and time.
The proverbial good and evil test each others' boundaries in a fearsome war.
Who will win? Who will lose?
It all depends on the creators of this single universe.
But in the end, does it really matter?
For the stones of darkest shadows and purest starlight can easily be swept from the board of play to be hidden in bowls of potential,
Waiting to be played-on a blank board of unimaginable possibilities.
Now come, one-and-all, you creators of universes.
Come, for the game to create a new universe…awaits…
