Kay: Now! On to the story!
This was it, huh? The first day of high school. Gold sighed and straightened his uniform collar for the…He'd lost count of how many times he'd done that already in this one hour. The dark haired teen looked around the auditorium for a familiar head of dark hair. Where is Red-nii? There were just too many people. The teen looked to his right and caught the eye of his neighbor and best friend, Ruby Yuki.
Ruby cast a quick smile at the slightly taller boy, hoping that it would calm both of them. Gold Hibiki was hardly anything like his older brother. The red-eyed teen barely knew Red, but from what he could tell, Red was outgoing and loud. Gold was practically his polar opposite. The cat-eyed boy was shy and withdrawn. Ruby supposed it was because he was a half-brother. He looked around silently and smiled seeing a tall boy standing among the upperclassmen. Wes…he thought happily watching the lion-like teen stand with a bored expression on his face. Ruby glanced to the left of Wes and gasped.
Gold blinked when he felt Ruby nudging his arm. "What?", he whispered glad to be distracted from the principal's ramblings. Ruby gave him a knowing smirk, "Look on the right side of the room." Gold lifted an eyebrow, but did so anyway. A huge grin appeared on his face when he saw who it was that Ruby was pointing out to him. "Red-nii is here.", the teen muttered before casting a smile at his friend. Ruby chuckled seeing the gratitude in his friend's eyes. The raven haired teen knew that Gold was afraid of his brother skipping the entrance ceremony and not being there for him. Gold smiled at Red who glanced his way. The crimson eyes lit up and a quick wink was cast at the smaller. Maybe it won't be so bad here.
Kay: Ugh...This was so hard to write...Ah well! I did it! The prologue is done. And please don't tell me that I have horribly butchered their personalities. I know that I have and it's for the purpose of this story. Anyway, if any of you have decided to read this far, I would welcome any sort of criticism and help you can give.
