"Open this damn door!" Was repeatedly being yelled outside in the hotel hallway, followed by loud and incessant knocking… and Finn could tell it was beginning to wear on Amanda's already frazzled nerves.
Amanda was tempted to call hotel security and let them escort Carmella out of the building… she knew Cass would be pissed but at this moment, she didn't care.
"Colin needs to put a leash on that bitch!" Amanda muttered into Finn's right shoulder as Finn lightly stroked her hair with his left hand. Amanda eventually stood up, walked to the door and unlocked it completely, deadbolt and chain, and swung it open, making the 5'5" blonde jump back and the 5'1" brunette was tempted to smirk… but then she saw the black eye.
"See what she did to me tiny?! She fucking damaged my face!" Carmella yelled, Amanda trying to talk but Carmella wouldn't shut up and continued ranting about Nikki being dangerous and even dragged John into the rant…
A sharp echoing smack was Amanda's response and Carmella's and Finn's eyes widened in shock as Finn ran over, pulling Amanda back.
"You… you just-" Carmella says shakily.
"Yeah! Trying to slap some sense into you, you ego inflated bitch! You tried to break Nikki's neck, you jumped her at Survivor Series! A black eye is the least of what you deserve and you're whining about it like it was unjustified?! Go cry to Colin about it, Leah, I'm sick of your bullshit!" Amanda yelled, Carmella not used to hearing her real name yelled back at her… but from what she had heard, Amanda only used anyone's real name when she was royally pissed off.
The second Carmella ran off with tears in her eyes, Finn closed the door and locked it, turning to his stressed out girlfriend. Amanda looked up at Finn, a look of regret in her eyes… but Finn pulled her into his arms, the two hugging.
"It's okay, lass… we all have those days where we reach our breaking point." Finn whispers, rubbing his right hand up and down Amanda's back.
Amanda's mind was racing at reckless speed… she had slapped one of the few female friends she had, made the woman cry, opened the drain and kicked that and possibly her friendship with Colin down it on top of most likely causing tension more suffocating than the time John Morrison and Joey Mercury got into a fistfight backstage while they were still a team with Melina.
But Amanda knew that Finn was right… everyone has their breaking point and Amanda hit hers when Carmella started trashing John.
'Leave my brother out of your melodramatic rants, bitch!' Was what Amanda was thinking before her hand connected with Carmella's face…
There were just some days that Amanda felt like she couldn't fight her past reckless behavior no matter how hard she tried.
