AN: Hey! This is my very first Harry Potter fanfic that I've posted and would appreciate if you gave me some feedback! Also, all the "facts" I post are headcannon; meaning they're cannon only in my head! Enjoy!
Disclaimer: If I owned Harry Potter, rest assured Fred Weasley wouldn't be dead.
Pairings for this chapter: Pansy/ Draco and Draco/Hermione.
Non-cannon characters: Daisy Parkinson, Pansy's younger sister.
Chapter One: Draco Malfoy had a crush on Hermione Granger.
Until the beginning of her third year, Pansy Parkinson didn't like Draco Malfoy at all; she thought she'd lose all her friends if she wasn't a part of his group of friends.
That all changed when she saw how he looked at Hermione Granger laughing with her stupid little friends, his eyes weren't filled with the kind of hate you'd look at your enemy with, his eyes were filled with the kind of hate you'd look at the chocolate cake you knew you shouldn't even think about tasting because you wouldn't fit into your newest ball gown.
Pansy would know; her mother looked at food like that an awful lot.
When she saw him look at her like that, she suddenly knew what she wanted for Christmas; she wanted Draco Lucius Malfoy.
How could she not see that! That was the reason she'd hex any girl that looked at him twice, not because she liked to hex people but because she would soon be Mrs. Draco Malfoy.
Pansy quickly owled her mother, detailing that she knew who she would ask to the annual summer ball she attended, held by a Pureblood family she couldn't remember the name of because of her excitement, and what color would Draco think she look her best in?
It seemed like it took her mother ages to reply back, however it only took an hour, her mother was ecstatic, she had the perfect daughter she wished for, who would marry into one of the most respectable wizarding families, the Malfoys.
Her mother had said an emerald green would look stunning and Pansy agreed, she liked green, though she would have preferred to wear pink but didn't want to disagree with her mother, she had been to more balls than Pansy, after all.
One year later, Draco Malfoy asked her to the Yule ball, she planned to wear pink dress robes.
That day, every single Slytherin, including the little half-blood first years (and her first year Hufflepuff sister, Daisy, who acted like a blood-traitor but was most certainly not a lowly half-blood) knew who Pansy was attending with.
Pansy was elated, every Slytherin girl would kill just to have one dance with Draco Malfoy (although that wasn't saying much, Millicent Bulstrode would kill for a handful of sweets), but she would make hex any of them if they tried to dance with him.
Though she would never admit to it, Pansy made sure to not let Draco look at Granger a second time at the ball, because if a world-famous Quidditch star would ask her to the ball, certainly Draco would consider dancing with her.
So that was chapter one! Did you like it? Do you want longer chapters? What could I improve on?
Also, if there's a fact you want to see, a specific character, a pairing or all three don't hesitate to leave that in your review!
Much love!
