Hello, if you are reading this, you might have noticed the Spider-Man stories under the "With Great Power" stopped about three years ago and was more or less abandoned. There are a few reasons for this. Like Warren Ellis, my computer fried and my database of stories went with it. I tried to rewrite them but things always seemed to get in the way, be it bad library computers, school, drama, trauma, or something else entirely. I also, as time went, burned out on the story. I was always tried to keep the series semi-relevant to the overall Marvel canon but the ever-shifting continuity at Marvel (especially in regards to series regulars Tony Stark and Norman Osborn) made that more and more difficult. My anger over One More Day also dissipated a bit, taking a piece of my motivation with it. Finally, I've spent the last year and a half between writing comic scripts I hope I can submit to publishers and writing articles for The Alternative Chronicle under my real name (Kenny Cooper) over at Wordpress. We're hoping to get our own site and advertisers sometime in the coming year.
Nevertheless, I do want to apologize for abandoning this series. I'm very grateful for the people who read it and gave their feedback and apologize for dropping the series right smack in the middle of a cliffhanger. I also want to thank Jeff's writrzblok and all his contributions to the series. Of all the guys, he did the most for this little project and I shirked him worst of all by never finishing. You can read his reviews under the "No Fancy Titles Reviews" banner and his videos "Way or No Way" at the That Guy With The Glasses website under the name "writrzblok" and you should because they are quite good.
At this time, I owe it to everybody, myself included, to finish this story up right. I plan to do so with a couple epic multi-part stories:
Day of Madness: Norman Osborn returns to New York and we see what he has been planning this whole while.
The Inferno: Loosely based on another story I thought up for the BND-canon called "The Shattering", Spider-Man finds himself dealing with Mephisto once and for all. Hopefully, this will be an adequate capper for this story, bringing it all full circle. And it will have a random guest star that makes total sense if you know me.
