He watched as she slept nakedly in his arms, her head resting on his chest; right over his guild mark. Her long and wavy brunette hair was sprawled over her back and spilled over onto the black sheets of his bed. Last night was a night of feelings for the both of them; years of holding them in released-in the form of tears sweat and glorious sex.

That was last night, now it was mid-morning and Laxus had the pleasure of watching Cana sleep peacefully like a small child. Her breathing was calm and on her lips was a small smile-on she rarely wore while awake. The lightning mage himself has seen it a few times and on his own face was his own rare, soft smile. A quick sigh escaped his lips and the smile faded as he realized she would wake soon and he would be dead before the card mage would know of his starring. Knowing Cana, she would most likely tease him endlessly and never let him forget. She would also call him some kind of pervert.

So, as the woman's face scrunched up a bit and noises left her throat, Laxus closed his eyes and feigned sleep. He felt Cana's head rise from his chest and heard her tired morning voice chuckle a bit. Before he knew it both his cheeks were being pulled and his eyes shot open. Deep and dark blue eyes glared lightly into Cana's own dark purple eyes. "Morning Laxus," greeted the card mage with an amused smile playing on her lips. In response, Laxus snaked his hands around her own and pushed the woman onto her back. The now laughing card mage looked at her new lover and Laxus gave her a smirk as his eyes wandered over her body below his.

"How should I punish you?" asked the blond man.

"Don't take any tips from me, sweetheart." replied the brunette amusingly.

Laxus rolled his eyes and kissed her nose before pushing himself off of her. His feet touched the ground and he stretched out his arms before cracking his neck.

Soon, he felt two soft breasts against his back and arms around his neck. Cana placed her chin on the man's shoulder and spoke, "I wonder if the guild will throw a party. We both know you wouldn't want that."

In response the man grunted, "Gramps will go mad if he finds out. Ah well, might as well get it over with."

A chuckled left the woman's lips "It wouldn't be Fairy Tail of they didn't do something over the top. Though you are much more of a simple man."

"I suppose you're right," agreed Laxus. A groan left his mouth as he looked at the door of his bedroom, "We have to start the day now, don't we?"

"Of course," replied Cana as she let go of the S-class mage she maneuvered herself around him and stood up, the blankets fell off of her, leaving her naked body to the man's sharp eyes. "Better now than never," added the girl as she walked out of the room.

As she left a light chuckle left Laxus's lips as he too stood up, "I suppose you're right, like always."
