Royal Engagement, a descendants, 2015 fanfic

It wasn't that long ago when my parents got married. It was a very lavish wedding. That was just the beginning. Before I was born, my dad united all of the kingdoms and then he was named the King of Auradon. As part of his plan, he resurrected and removed all of the evil people and sent them to the Isle of the Lost, with a magical barrier that prevented anyone from leaving. It was a land of no magic and everyone born there was condemned to a life of poverty and suffering, but there was nothing that I could do about that…yet.

My name is Princess Beatrice, Bea for short. My parents were Belle and Adam, who was commonly better known as the Beast. I was currently being fitted for my dress. You see, despite only being 16 years old, I was going to crowned Queen. Because Auradon was an accepting place, I didn't need a king. I had a girlfriend, but I wasn't sure if I wanted her to be a queen with me yet.

"How is your about to become Queen?" My dad asked. I was my mother's idea to take over the throne. "You're still just a baby."

"Well she is 16, Dear.' Mom responded.

"Morning, Papa, Mama." I greeted them.

"16? I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." He declared. That probably wasn't the best thing to say.

"We got married when you were 28." Mom pointed out.

"Mama, Papa, I've chosen my first official proclamation as Queen." I stated. Apparently, the guy who was fitting me did not want me moving. They looked at me with interest. "I have decided that the children of the Isle of the Lost will be given a chance to live here in Auradon."

They were shocked upon that revelation. My mother even dropped the sheet she was holding. With that, I felt that I needed to explain better.

"Every time I look at the Isle, I can't help but feel that they've been abandoned." I responded as I moved forward.

"You want the children of our sworn enemies to live among us?" He challenged.

"I'm not planning on bringing them all over. I want to go through a trial period and if we are successful in our attempt we can expand it." I explained. I had thought things through a lot and even had a list. "I've already chosen them."

"Have you?" He retorted.

"I gave you another chance." Mom pointed out. "Whose children are they?"

"The son of Cruella de Ville, son of Jafar, daughter of Queen Grimhilde, and daughter of Maleficent." I answered.

"Maleficent? She is the worst villain of them all!" He shouted.

"Papa, please listen." I urged.

"I won't. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." He argued. I felt he really would have lost it if I went with Gaston's son like I had originally planned.

"Their children have only been cursed with their birthright. Don't you think they deserve a shot live as their own people?" I countered.

"I suppose the children are innocent." He agreed.

"You shall be a great queen." Mom told me.

Mal's POV

I am the baddest of the bad. I practically ruled the Isle of the Lost. It was a place of total anarchy and I loved it. The only downside was that was no magic, but one day I would find my way off the island. I gathered with my friends Evie Grimhilde, Carlos de Ville and Jay and started to display how evil we were. I was so bad that I didn't need to kill anyone.

At that point, my mother showed up.

"Hi Mom." I greeted her.

"Have you killed anyone yet?" She asked. Apparently, it was a big deal to her for some reason.

"No." I replied.

"Mal, you'll never be truly evil until you've taken a life." She explained. "When I was your age, I was cursing entire kingdoms."

She had told me that story several times.

"Yet, your greatest feat was not even killing the one person that you planned on killing." I pointed out. "I can do better than you, but the people here aren't worth killing because they're all bad."

"Well there is news and maybe you'll get the chance to take the life of someone good." She remarked. "All four of you have been chosen to go to school in Auradon."

"Why would I want to do that?" I challenged. "I don't want to go to stupid school. The last thing that I want is to be stuck around some preppy princesses."

"And perfect princes." Evie piped in. I glared art her.

"Plus, they have uniforms there." Jay added. I wasn't sure if that was true or not.

"I heard that Auradon has dogs." Carlos remarked with fear. For some reason he was afraid of them. It was probably because his mom was beaten by them.

"Mom, I'm not going." I declared. I couldn't speak for the rest of them but I was pretty sure that I had a choice.

"You're missing the bigger picture, dear daughter." She stated. "It's about getting off this wretched island." She explained as she took me home. "You will go. You will find the Fairy Godmother and you will bring me back her magic wand and then we will all be free."

"Why would I hand something so powerful over to you?" I challenged. I could do a lot with that, but I liked it on the Isle.

"Because you could finally be the Princess that you deserve to be." She answered. "Do you enjoy watching innocent people die?"

"Of course. Who doesn't?" I retorted. To be honest, I had never seen it.

"Well get me the wand and there will be plenty of death and I will be able to free us from the island and we will take over all of Auradon, killing anyone who gets in my way." She declared. "And you refuse, you'll be grounded forever."

"You can't ground me. There are no laws here." I argued.

"You know why they want you to go there." She stated. "They want you to become like them. You could show the world just how bad you are before you overthrow the king."

"Fine, whatever." I relented. If I didn't, she wouldn't shut up about it and I really didn't want to hear her keep talking about anything.

"I will finally my revenge on Sleeping Beauty." She remarked.

"You know she didn't do anything to you." I reminded her. "She was asleep the whole time. It was her parents and Prince Phillip who did everything."

"Just take my spellbook. It doesn't work here, but it will in Auradon. Once the time is right, you will be able to use it to find the magic wand." She explained. "Now you can make your own memories of the destruction and havoc you cause with it. Now you must go."

"Wait, right now?" I asked. I couldn't believe the were giving us no notice. Did we really have to go immediately? I saw that there was a limo. I was impressed to say the least.

The four of us got inside of the limo and headed to Auradon. I had a feeling our lives were never gonna be the same.

So, there's the prologue. Bea is played by Bailey Madison and her parents are played by Emma Watson and Dan Stevens. What will happen when Bea meets Mal. The song is "Bad" by Michael Jackson. Please don't forget to review.
