This is just a strange little idea that popped into my head last night and I felt that I should write it down and post it.

Smiling

It was quiet and dark in the dorms. No one was awake. Chiharu slept soundly until a strong urge woke him up. 'Man, I have to pee.' Then Chiharu proceeded to walk out of the room to the bathroom. A few minutes later, Chiharu returned to the room and before getting back into bed he took a glance at his sleeping roommate.

She was sleeping in her usual fashion, sprawled out all over her bed. But Chiharu noticed something, as she was sleeping oh so soundly she had a small, innocent smile on her lips. 'What is she smiling about? She must be having a good dream.'

A girlish giggle bubbled out of her lips and the smile spread. Chiharu rolled his eyes and went back to bed. Just as he was drifting off to sleep, Kyo started talking in her sleep. Though muffled by pillows and an inarticulate mouth Chiharu distinctly heard her say, "Why yes, Chiharu-kun."

This was too much for Chiharu Eniwa's curious mind so he got up and sat down right in front of Kyo's face. "Kyo," he whispered as to not wake her up. "Kyo, what did you just say yes to?" Chiharu hoped she would still respond even though she was asleep.

"Don't you remember? You just asked me if you could kiss me and I said yes." Chiharu nearly died on the spot.

"You want me to kiss you?" Chiharu thought for a second then decided it's now or never and she probably won't even remember it in the morning. Taking a deep breath Chiharu leaned in towards Kyo's inviting lips. Her eyes were closed gently and for a strange moment Chiharu felt like Prince Charming waking up Sleeping Beauty. He shook it off and slowly kissed Kyo.

The moment their lips connected Kyo's eyes shot open and in her sleepiness she convinced herself it was a dream. Kyo relaxed and went back to sleep. Chiharu ended the kiss and stood up.

Chiharu returned to his bed though he didn't fall back asleep until it was almost time to be up again.

Kyo awoke with a yawn finding Chiharu still in his bed but awake, staring at the ceiling. "You wouldn't believe the dream I had last night!" Kyo exclaimed.

"I can only imagine." Chiharu mumbled back.
