"Fry! Wake up!"

"Leela," Fry moaned, "I'm tired."

"But I have something important to tell you!" Leela said.

"Important?" Fry sat up immediately. "Did Super Mario World arrive?"

"The videogame or the planet-sized alien spaceship that will destroy us all?"

"The videogame," Fry clarified.

"No."

"Oh. And the other one?"

"Also no."

Fry shrugged, "Whatever, if it's not about my game, I'm going back to sleep." In a fraction of a second he was sprawled back on the bed and snoring.

Leela did a spin kick to hurl the blankets off of him.

"Cold..." Fry whined, still half-asleep, "My bed's cold... I wish I could sleep in warm lasagne..."

"Fry! Wake up! It's very important!"

Fry sat up, eyes ablaze. "VERY important? Why didn't you say so? Is it Bender? Did he accidentally blow up a star system? Cuz if he says it was an accident, then we are his friends and we have to believe him."

"No. At least I don't think so. I assume someone would have called."

"Oh! Did he make the spacetime continu-thing all messed up with again? Did he kill a smaller weaker robot? Make all the dimensions bleed together until we become floaty blobs? Is he feeling lonely? Can't he find his rubber ducky? Does he want me to tell him the story about the brave little engine that puffed all the way up the mountain and then the robot smashed it?"

"Fry! No! It's not about Bender!"

"Oh."

Snoring again. Loud snoring.

"I was going to say that we could have sex now," Leela said softly.

Fry just kept snoring.

"Dumbass," she whispered as she kissed his forehead and tucked him in, sighing as she left the room.
