i don't own Merlin(i wish Though)

Kilgharrah flies off. Merlin watches. He then turns to look at his friend. No, he thinks, it couldn't end like this. He couldn't give up .Not now! After all his efforts! After all what he faced to protect him! He just couldn't!
Merlin holds his old friend and drags him to Avalon's lake. "I told you're fat" say Merlin refusing to believe Arthur's death. It's his last chance. His last hope.
Gently, Merlin let Arthur going deeper and deeper into the water .Then he backs away.
And he waits.
Waits, waits…nothing happen.
So it's the end? He lost his friend? There's a movement.
The lake's surface agitates.
A soaked head, shoulders, body appears.
"Arthur!"
"Merlin! How did you do it?!"
Merlin lessens the short distance between them and grips his friend hugging him tightly.
"I thought I lost I lost you" say Merlin with tears in his eyes.
"Yeah me too"
Merlin holds Arthur's cheeks and rests his forehead on his brother's figure (yep, no Merthur here, I only ship them as a bromance :p ) and closes his eyes .Feeling the moment. His happiness. And silently thanking god for this second chance. This miracle.
Then, gripping other by the shoulders, they take their way out of the water, holding each other like the true brothers they are.
* Kilgharrah's voice "Merlin" *
*puts Merlin's ending music *
