Snow Days
Raven sighed as she looked out her bedroom window, her breathe creating fog on the icy window. It had snowed the night before making outside look like a winter wonderland. Even the top of the ocean that surrounded them was covered by a snowy blanket. Raven shivered while pulling her cloak around her more. She couldn't stand the cold or the heat for that matter.
Hearing a loud knock on her door she quietly walked over and opened it barely a couple inches. Beast boy stood on the other side a wide grin spread out on his face. "Hey Rae!," He said cheerfully. "We were wondering if you wanted to come out and play in the snow with us! You know if you wanted to."
Raven's automatic answer was going to be no, but for some reason she nodded and smiled softly. Beast boy's eyes widened and his mouth gaped open, "Your really coming! Awesome!" The smile disappeared as quickly as it came and she hissed, "No throwing snow."
Beast boy nodded before sprinting down the hall, "We'll be outside already Rae! Get something warm on it's really cold," Beast boy yelled, stating the obvious. Raven rolled her eyes then got more casual, warm clothes on and she teleported herself to outside. She found the rest of her friends outside each playing in the snow. Cyborg and Starfire were making a snowman while Robin watched and Beast Boy was making snow angels. She smiled as the changeling got up to inspect his handy work.
"Hey Rae," Cyborg grinned at the pale teen while he put the head onto the snowman. "Raven our friend! You have come joined us in the snow playing," Starfire cheered, rushing over to hug her before going back to finish off the snowman.
"I told you," Beast Boy yelled plopping back down into the snow to make another angel. After recovering from the hug Raven sat down beside one of the other angels. She sat there drawing little doodles into the snow or watching her friends who were in the beginnings of a snowball fight.
Beast Boy seeing Raven distracted grinned. He started to sneak behind her grabbing a handful of snow as he went. Once he was close enough he raised his hand to fire, "Hey Rae! Look behind you!"
Raven barely turned her head around before she got a face full of snow. She yelped at the stinging cold, wiping off the already dissolving snow. She opened her eyes to glare at the green teen who was now remembering what she had said about the no throwing snow policy a while ago. Her eyes and hands started to glow black with her magic power. "Uh Rae? I'm sorry! It slipped! I swear I didn't mean to! I forgot!," Beast boy yelled frantic, holding his arms up in defense. The others watched with wide eyes wondering what Raven would do to the green changeling.
Raven's glowing black hands started to raise a mountain of snow and she threw it at the changeling. Beast Boy let out a small squeak, his ears drooping before he was squashed by the pile of snow. His head popped out from the side, snow covering his face and he spluttered snow. Everyone looked at Raven as a sly smirk grew on her face, "I told you no throwing snow."
Cyborg was the first to break the silence, he started laughing at Beast Boy. Which made Starfire and Robin start to laugh even Raven couldn't hold back a small chuckle. Beast boy grumbled as he tried to pull himself out of the snow pile. He succeeded by landing on his face to the ground making everyone crack up laughing once again.
