Surprise

Percy has a pretty important question to ask his boyfriend Oliver. But first he wants to surprise him at the Quidditch Pitch. This is for the August Writing Club's Character Appreciation on Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Hey everyone. This is a story for the August Writing Club Character Appreciation. I choose to write for both Oliver 9. Setting: Quidditch Pitch and the Bonus Prompt 21. write Percy/Oliver. I also used this for Super Drabble Tag. It's short, fluffly, and sweet. I hope you all enjoy Surprise.

He watched as the rest of the Gryffindor Quidditch team made their way off the Quidditch Pitch. He could tell that Olive didn't know he was here. The other boy was to busy looking at the sheet of paper in his hands. Smiling to himself he quietly approached the other boy putting his hands over scanning eyes.

"Hey," came the annoyed voice. "This is funny Fred."

"Wrong Weasley," he prompted Oliver seeing dawning come over the other boy.

"Perce," Oliver exclaims as he lowers his hands from the other boy's eyes, "I didn't think you'd end up showing up."

"Surprise," he said pressing his lips to the other boy's as he took the sheet of paper in one hand and Oliver's hand in the other. "I thought you might want to take a walk with me near the Black Lake before dinner."

"I'd love that, Perce," Oliver told him as he laced their fingers together.

He smiled as they made their way away from the Quidditch Pitch. Hopefully he'd get the answer he wanted when they got to the Black Lake. He smiled as he patted the ring in the pockets of his robes. This was set to become the happiest day of his life.

"You seem very deep in thought," came the charming Irish voice he'd come to love over the years.

He looked towards the lake and then nodded. "I am," he told Oliver turning to face the other boy with the lake and sunset at his back. "I have something I want to ask you."

Oliver quirked an eyebrow at him. "You've never been afraid to ask me anything before. Why is now different?"

"If could change everything."

Oliver nodded as he considered this. "Then go ahead and ask."

"Will you marry me?" the words tumbled out of his mouth without further thought.

Oliver eyes widen in surprise as nodded. "Yes," he told Percy. "I will marry you."

Percy sighed in relief as he felt himself being pulling another passionate kiss as the sun touched the Black Lake. This was the first day of the rest of their lives. And he couldn't wait for the surprises yet to come.
