This is a longer fic, hopefully! I had to rush You Were There because I had to go to get my stupid glasses! Anyway, this one shouldn't be rushed.
Another death, but not as rushed. Extended version of You Were There.
Clank touched down on the ground and began to walk to the place where everyone was staying.
He was so happy to be able to see Ratchet after such a long time. He couldn't wait to see the happy look on his face.
Clank had spent two years worrying about Ratchet and the others, hoping they were okay, but what he was in for was a surprising moment in time. He kept walking until he made it to an opening where there were three Zoni hovering around. Clank ran over to them and they immediately flew off. He was a little confused as to why they just decided to leave, but dismissed the thoughts right away. He kept on walking, and saw that no one was around the room where they all were. Everyone was missing. He looked around until he saw a note lodged in a corner of a rock. It read:
Dear Ratchet,
We wanted to give you this letter if you ever came back to the space station. We are tired of waiting on you to come back! It's been two years! Give up already. Clank's not coming back!

Clank stared at the letter in utter belief. Ratchet had been searching two years for him?
He couldn't believe that he would do all of that for him. He really cared for him. He clutched the letter and continued to walk.
He rounded a corner and saw four more Zoni crowded around a creature that was clutching his sides for dear life. Clank ran over towards the creature, making the Zoni fly away from the spot. Clank turned the creature around so it was facing Clank's direction. Clank eyes widened in utter horror as he saw that the creature was Ratchet.
He coughed up some blood and began to speak. "Hey buddy. I'm glad to see you again. Sorry it wasn't on better terms."
Clank wiped some blood off Ratchet's brow, soothing him."It is okay. You will be okay. I will not let you die."
Ratchet laughed as much as he could."I have to. You can't heal me. It's impossible."
"No! I wiil not let you die!"
Ratchet brushed his hand against Clank's face."I have to. It doesn't matter anyway. I never truly got to fulfill my purpose anyway."
"Yes you did! You fulfilled your purpose. You were there and that is all that matters."
Ratchet looked up at him, a confused look in his eye, before falling limp. Clank laid him on the ground.
"Please do not die."
"I- can't do that."
"Yes you can. Can I tell you one thing before you die?"
Ratchet looked up."Sure."
Clank looked into his eyes."I love you."
"I love you too." Ratchet fell limp once again, this time for good.
"Thank you for being there."
