Kat was definitely staring at him. Oh, she was trying to be subtle about it, rummaging around in her locker while conveniently facing in his direction, but there was no question that she was staring.

Not that Kara couldn't understand why she'd want to stare at Lee when he was wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. After all, he was, objectively speaking, very attractive, with well-defined muscles on his arms and chest, and she could have sworn that he had a tan, except that was ridiculous because they were in outer frakking space, and Lee had more important things to do than find a fake sun machine and get a nice tan. But the point was, he was pretty easy on the eyes.

Except you weren't supposed to stare. Every cadet learned that in the first week of coed barracks and unisex heads or they got a black eye courtesy of the first person who caught them looking. Kara ignored a lot of rules, but she'd always followed that one. It didn't make much difference to her if Kat wanted to stare at half-naked Lee, but, damn it, it wasn't fair if she couldn't look too.

Not that she thought about Lee like that, of course. He was her friend, but a friend who happened to have an attractively-muscled chest that was still a little wet from his shower and hair that was forming damp curls around his forehead and oh, Lords, she had to stop Kat before this got out of hand.

Kara cleared her throat loudly and pointedly. Lee and Kat both turned to look at her, with confused and guilty expressions, respectively. She ignored Lee and gave Kat a 'I know what you were doing and if you know what's good for you, you'll leave before I decide to make you' look. Some of the message might have been lost in translation to glare form, but Kat got the general idea. She slammed her locker shut just the tiniest bit petulantly and left the room.

Kara then turned her attention to Lee, who continued to look perplexed. It was an oddly good look, now that she thought about it, emphasizing his pale blue eyes...

Damn it. She was going to kill Kat.
