Another great story by guestsurprise, who owns Zambanza. Ben 10 belongs to Cartoon Network and Man of Action. I only own Rachel and Sasha and gave guestsurprise full permission to use them.

Their Primary Fear

"Zambanza?! You're offering Zambanza to stay with you?!" A Plumber said.

"She's the most dangerous kid we've ever seen! She dwarfs all the others, Salwa, Maxine, Tyina, and Madison! Rachel, Zambanza cannot be tamed!" Ben said in horror.

"Ben, calm down. I'm not expecting to tame her. If anything, we want to let her into our lives. She needs a family," Rachel said.

"Rachel, please, not this one. She is very dangerous. She almost destroyed Zombozo, for Heaven's sake. She's a menace!" Ben pleaded.

"No, she's not, Ben!" Sasha added.

"She almost harmed you by permanently blinding you!" Ben said.

But Rook was also getting concerned. Was adopting Zambanza a good thing? It did not appear that way now. Rook glanced at Rachel and she seemed to understand. She nodded to indicate that they would talk later.

"Do not let her into your home, Rachel. She's bad news and the entire town is after her," Ben said in concern, now walking away.

Rachel and Sasha looked at each other and then walked back to the mansion. It wasn't looking good at all and they had so many plans.

At the mansion…

"We already have a couple adopting her!" Rachel said.

"But if she is a threat we have a problem." Rook said.

"That is true. None of the authorities would willingly let anyone adopt her. There is only so much you can do, Rachel," Ben said sadly.

"We've even heard other Plumbers hoping that you do so that they could capture her!" Four Arms said.

"NO! I would never let them harm her!" Rachel said angrily.

"Rachel, they would still try. They want her because even though she's young, she's very powerful." Ben said. "They want to know the secret of her power!"

"We don't want her to be hurt," Sasha said in worry.

"I am not sure what would happen to her, but I do know that you all may want to think twice before you let her into your lives," Ben said in worry.

But at that moment, the thunder rolled and the rain began to pour.

"It's going to be a nasty storm," Sasha said.

"LOOK!" One of the children screamed, pointing out the window. Everyone looked out and saw Zambanza was standing a distance from the mansion, but she heard every word.

"No! Oh, no!" Rachel said, now running out and stopping on the front porch! "Zambanza?! What are you doing here in the rain?! Come inside!"

All she got was her signature, creepy grin. "Zambanza, I know you may have heard some terrible things, but…,"

"Miss Rachel…it is for the best," Zambanza said lowly. "I have decided to withdraw my intentions to stay here."

"WHAT?!" Rachel gasped. She was not going to allow this, not after they made so much progress. Sasha ran out there too and gasped at seeing Zambanza being soaked to the bone.

"Tell those who wanted to adopt me that it was for the best," Zambanza said, now turning and seeing helicopters flying!

"We have a fix on her! We have a fix on her!" They called out, making Zambanza smirk.

"Well…let the games begin again!" She smiled, now bowing lightly and then grabbing her wand. "The show must go on!"

"STOP!" Rachel panicked, now making her pause. "You'll get hurt Zambanza! Please don't do this!"

"Yes, we love you!" Sasha said.

Those words made Zambanza's eyes pop open wide. She heard that people cared for her, but not 'loved' in a long, long time.

But she shook her head and continued to let the rain pour down hard, soaking her. She glanced at them one more time and gave them a small, genuine smile.

"Miss Rachel. Thanks for trying," Zambanza smiled, now bowing one more time and disappearing into a puff of smoke! Rachel's and Sasha's heart crumbled. She was gone and she may not return ever again.
