I do not own Ninjago. There are some old characters and some new. I'm guessing that you can guess what this story is about just by looking at the title. Nice callback to the Titanium Ninja. In other words, this is about the ninja's children. Kai and Skylor are married and have two kids. Jay and Nya are married and have three kids. Cole and a female OC named Rebel are married and have one kid. Zane has built himself a son (you'll get some backstory for this sometime later in the story). And finally, Lloyd has two kids. His wife is a woman named Koharu, but she's dead. Harumi was originally until Season 8 showed us the truth. I think it's pretty obvious in Season 8 that Lloyd is getting her for his girlfriend, maybe for a while at least. I'm sorry I'm doing a lot right now, hoping people will like this better than some stories I'm doing now. This one will probably end up a longer and better story than my requests and Fire in Winter. Let me know what you're excited for. Enjoy!

Ray stood expectantly as Skylor hugged him. "I love you, Mom," he spoke into her ear, squeezing her.

"I love you too, Ray," Skylor replied, running her fingers through his wild red hair. She couldn't believe this young man in front of her she had once held in her arms. "I can't believe this day has come."

"You aren't saying goodbye to me, Mom. Rose and I will still be here for you and Dad."

Skylor smiled at her son. "I know. You're eighteen, son. You can take care of yourself. We told you from the time you were a young boy that you would carry on our legacy." She blinked back tears, somehow afraid that this might be the last time she would see her son.

"Mom, we'll come back. The dojo is just a few miles away. You can come and see us anytime you feel like you need to. We don't mind."

Skylor smiled, looking up into her son's brown eyes with hope. "Just remember to be careful."

"I promise," Ray assured her, kissing her cheek.

Kai walked out with his arms around Rose. Her bright amber eyes flickered with excitement. She gripped her bag like there was no tomorrow. "I love you, Dad," Rose said, pulling him into a hug.

Kai returned the hug. "You'll always be my girl, my little fire-starter," he said, not wanting to let her go. She broke the hug first, looking into his eyes, grinning from ear to ear. She then ran to her mother, who embraced her and whispered, "Be good with your cousins." Rose laughed at the comment and hugged Skylor tighter.

Kai walked to his son and gave Ray a manly hug. Except for Ray's red hair, brown eyes, and younger appearance, Kai could have been his twin. "You watch out for your sister," he said.

"Sure, Dad," Ray answered, breaking away and walking out the door with his younger sister in tow. Both Kai and Skylor watched as their children walked down the road and became further and further away.

"They'll be fine, Sky," Kai reassured her. "There hasn't been any form of evil for nearly twenty years. Lloyd will train them, and then they'll come back to us."

Skylor smiled as Kai lovingly wrapped an arm around her shoulders. She held his hand, watching her son and daughter disappear over the horizon.

"Dad. I'm 17. I think I can handle packing my own bags," Sarah confronted her father when she caught him packing some extra pairs of clothes from her mother's closet.

"Hey, hey, you can never be unprepared," Jay told his daughter. "Can't blame me. I've been caught too many times without enough clean clothes to wear."

"Dad," Sarah inwardly groaned, but she smiled at her father. She walked up to him and gave him a kiss on his cheek before hugging him. Jay relaxed as he hugged her.

Sarah ran a hand through her auburn bangs and grabbed her bag, hauling it into the living room where the twins were. Raine was rechecking her belongings in her suitcase, her short raven hair covering her electric blue eyes. Tad sat on the couch, playing with his BorgPhone. He put it away when Sarah came into the room.

Their mother came out, her pretty black hair pulled into a loose ponytail. Nya gazed at her three children, hugging them each in turn. She was so proud of her kids, that now they would become ninja just like their parents before them. She hugged her oldest, Sarah, pulling her daughter into a hug. Next was Raine, the one that looked almost exactly like her. Tad's sky-blue eyes widened when he saw his mom coming in and dodged, only to be grabbed into a hug by his father. "Never let your guard down, Tad," Jay told him.

The three young teens grabbed their bags and walked out the door of the house. "We love you," Nya called out to them. Their kids waved back and then continued down the road. Nya saw her husband stroking his thin mustache thoughtfully and kissed his cheek. "What do you say you and I grab something?"

Jay looked at his wife and smiled, planting a soft kiss on her lips. "Sure."

"You ready, Deb?" Cole asked. She nodded. "I'll walk you there."

"Thanks, Dad."

"Father?" Titan called. "Yes, Titan?" Zane replied, looking at his son.

"All I can think about is these feelings I have inside of me. I have never felt them before."

Zane smiled. "They're called nerves, son. You're all right. You just need to know."

"Know what, Father?"

"That you are special." Zane embraced his young son. "I made you to be unique, and that is what you are. Never forget that I love you, and you will be fine."

"Yes, Father," Titan replied solemnly, managing a smile as he relaxed in his father's arms. Here, he was safe. Here, he didn't have to do anything to be himself.

"You belong with this team. They will be your lifelong friends, just like my team was for me," Zane reassured the young Nindroid. "You have nothing to fear."

Let me know how you think! This is really just the beginning chapter, so it wasn't all that good.
