First I'd like to thank Assassin's Creed Master for giving me the courage and help to get this idea a chance. I read some of his own stories and I think that you all should give his ideas a chance. Please read them. He desirves the support and feedback. Thanks again for giving me the stories and stay awsome dude. H2ODelirious for his laughter-causing, heart warming, "CLEMENTINE!" yelling gameplay. Check him out too so you can enjoy his playthrough like I did. I'm waiting for him to play Season 2 and 3. Also I'd like to tell you to watch iBerleezy as well. He's funny, cool and makes some of the choices that I don't make when I play the game. I won't say what choices I make but it may be hinted at as the story developes. Plus CoryxKenshin gets a shout out too since he's also a favorite of mine. Lastly, I'd like to thank Assassin's Creed Master once again for giving my OC a better name then what I picked. His name was Caiden until ACM gave me a list of names that he'd thought would be good to use so this name belongs to him by right. So you can say that he's the co-author but he's really not. I'm kind of a huge fan of his so there's that little bit of info for everybody who reads this story.
A/N: Hint Hint.
Clementine and Christopher were born as twins. Clem was born at 6:44 PM and Chris was born at 6:47 PM. Chris' skin tone is the same shade as his twin sisters and is a little... off in the head. By off in the head I mean that he's kind off prone to violent moments and he can't control himself whenever that happens. I'm not saying anything like he's a male version of Clem since I'm trying my best to not do that since readers don't like that kind of thing. He's not perfect too since I hate that just as much as other people do. Let's get back on the topic of Chris so I can get to work on this. So here's his bio. Please note that I tried my best to create one.
He's scared less offten and kind of on the more strong side when compared to Clem, even more so when he's violent. As the little brother he still looks up to Clem [sometimes.] dispite being only three minutes younger.
Name: Christopher but like's to be called Chris.
Age: Eight.
Height: Same as Clem's height.
Weight: About ten pounds more then her.
Outfit: A pair of blue jean shorts that stops just below his knees. a grey long sleeved cotten shirt under a white short sleeved shirt. A set of black boots with knee high socks and a grey beane the covers his short, straight black hair.
Likes: Clementine, playing games, being friendly. More will be explained as the story goes on.
Dislikes: Getting angry, being scared. More will be explained as the story goes on.
Okay! Let's start this off right with the disclamer.
Disclamer: I do not own The Walking Dead Game. Robert Kirkman does. I only own my OC Christopher and this version of the plot. ACM only owns the name of said OC.
Please remember that he's not a co-author but his work did give me the idea.
Chapter One: The Beginning.
One last thing: I'll add death scenes for Christopher as well as info about his imput the outcomes to some choices that we'd make if he was in the game. Turst me, I'll add them in when we get to one I think is important enough. Also, he'll have his own P.O.V. at times and when it's his P.O.V. it would be in first person instead of third person like it is at times in the main timeline.
Normal P.O.V.
It was another day in the suberbs of Atlanta Georgia as the twin children Clementine and Chris played tag in their backyard as their babysitter watched them from the kitchen window.
"Come on Chris, catch me!" Clementine shouted as her twin brother closed in on her.
"I will Clementine." Chris shouted back as he reached his hand out to tag his twin sister. As it got closer to Clem she quickly stepped to the right and fell into the pool. "CLEM!" He shouted as he grabed onto her hand as Sandra ran outside, grabed the little girl by her left arm as they both pulled her up and out of the water.
"It's okay Clementine, you'll be fine. Chris. Go and grab some towels."
"Okay." He said, running inside as Sandra carried Clem inside and upstairs to the bathroom where Chris was waiting with three diffrent colored towels.
"I got her, wait in your room."
"Alright."
After drying off Clementine went into her room where she sat down on her bed across from Chris' bed on the other side of the room.
"You okay?"
"Yep. How about you?"
"Yeah. I'm good too."
"Dinner will be ready soon." They heard from downstairs.
"Hey Clem,"
"Yes?"
"Wanna play more later?"
"Of course." She said with a smile. Ready and willing to spend more time with her brother.
That was three, no wait, four days ago now. In that short time the world has changed for the worst. Much worse. The dead have started to walk again and have began eating other humans, turning them into more of the walking dead. They hid in their treehouse after the third day where their babysitter told them to hide while she kept them safe. Or tried to since she just sort of vanished. In the late afternoon of the forth day is when a man named Lee showed up at thier backyard by climbing over the wooden fence. This is where the timeline begins but also changes. As he entered the house they watched from the hidden window cut into the side of their treehouse.
"What should we do Chris?" She asked, using his nickname like when he used hers.
"I don't know Clem. We'll see what happens. If all he's doing is 'looking for help' as he put it, then I'll head down there and talk to him but if he's bad then we'll hide up here until he leaves."
"I think that's a good plan." She said. He smiled at that before turning back to look at the man named Lee. "Also Clem, let me use the walkie-talkie."
"Why?"
"Because, if he talkes to us I'll make him think that I'm the only one here incase if he trys to attack me so you can help me. Got it?"
"I got it."
"Course you do, you are smart like me after all."
As the man named Lee entered the kitchen he found the walkie-talkie and turned it on. "Hello?"
Looking at Clem and back towards the window he says, "Who are you?"
"I'm Lee. What's your name?"
"Christopher. Your in my house. Why are you in my house?"
"I'm looking for help. I was in a car accident. Are you still there?"
"Yes. Okay, here's the plan: you need to come outside and then we can talk."
"Alright, your in charge here."
"Good. See you outside." He says. "Behind you!" He shouts. "Clem, stay here!" He tells her as he grabs the Ruger Revolver Snub Nose from thier parents room and rushs down the ladder to try and save Lee. As he opens the door he see's Lee kicks the zombie away and backs up towards the screen door. "Watch out!" He shouts as he aims his gun at the zombie.
Death Scene: If Chris takes to long to fire off a shot the zombie will jump onto him and tears his chest open.
BANG! A small hole is in the front of her skull and a large hole is now where part of her brain was. As blood covered them both Lee stood back up.
"Thanks. Hi there."
"Hello."
"Chris!" Clem shouted as she ran up to her brother and gave him a hug. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah Clem, I'm ok. How about you?"
"I'm fine. Thanks again."
"You said your name is Lee, right?"
"Yeah, I did."
"Well incase if you need a reminder my name's Christopher. But please, just call me Chris. This is my twin sister, Clementine."
"Hi."
"How did you hurt your leg again?" He asked, crossing his arms and still holding the gun in his right hand.
"I was in a car accident. When I woke up a few minutes ago I tried to move my leg but I was having trouble. I think it's broken."
"I think I have something to help with that. Hold on please." He said as he ran back to the treehouse, climbed up, grabed both his and Clem's backpacks and rentered the house. Opening his blue backpack he pulled out a bottle of pain killers, popped open the bottle and gave Lee two of the pills. "Here." He said as lee took the pain killers while he put everything away.
"Thanks."
"Okay, now what do we do?" He asked.
"I think we should wait into the nighttime before we move on if that's alright with you?"
"I vote for leaving now. Clem?" He asked, both of them looking at each her.
"I think we should stay until nightfall. It might be safer." Clem said.
"Okay then. I know when I'm out voted. Heh, until night fall, we rest." He said as they went to diffrent spots in the living room to rest up for a while.
Later that nigt around eleven P.M.
"Ready to go you two?" Lee asked as the twins as they both nodded their heads downwards together. Exiting the backdoor and closing it behind them the three make their way to the backgate and open it. The dimly lit streetlights brought some rays of light from both ends of the street. Chris was holding his gun and Lee had a hammer that Clem gave him. Chris had a full box off ammo, some canned food and water bottles. Clem had the same things and was holding a flshlight in her hands, aiming it infront of them as they kept walking. BANG!
"Get down." Lee said as they hid behind a wrecked car for cover. He then sticks his head up again but a bullet hitting the car's right back window stopped that.
"Stay down! Georgia State Patrol!"
"Don't shoot." Lee yells as he stands up slowly. "There are kids here."
As the State Patrolmen moved closer with a young man right behind him the twins raised thier arms.
"Oh shit you got kids. Sorry man."
"My names Shawn. Shawn Greene. This is Andre."
"Officer Mitchell."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Lee. This is Clementine and Chris."
"Did you see any of those things? One of them just got our buddy Chet."
"We saw one of them in the house. Caiden shot it."
"Wow." Shawn said.
"I had to do it otherwise we'ed all be dead right now." The eight year old awnsered.
"Look, we're trying to find the one who got our buddy Chet. Help us look for the one that got him and we'll take you and your kids down my dad's farm. It should be a lot safer there."
"I'm not thier dad. I'm..."
"He's a good guy. He helped us and we helped him."
"That's good enough for me." Shawn said. As a walker walked onto the street Officer Mitchell aims his gun at it but quits when he see's who it is. "Oh shit. It's Chet!" Shawn said as Clem turned the light off and Chris took her hand.
"Go! Get to my car! RUN!" He yelled as the rest of the group ran to his car. Takeing aim, he close's his eyes and runs to his car too. After starting it up and putting it into drive they small group leaves the suberbs and towards Atlanta.
Around one A.M. in the morning. As the police car stopped outside a large farm Shawn, Lee and the twins exited the police car as Officer Mitchell spoke to Shawn.
"Sorry about Chet Shawn. He was a good dude."
"Yeah. He was."
"See you around Shawn. Stay safe."
"You too Andre." He tells his friend as he drives away and into the night as an older man exits from the front door.
"Thanks God your okay." The man said as he hugged Shawn.
"I'm fine dad. Andre helped me and there folks escape." He told his dad as they ended the hug. "We lost Chet though."
"Oh God. Sorry to hear that son. I know he was your friend. You've brought a couple guests."
"This is Lee, Clem and Chris."
"You son's a lifesaver."
"I'm glad he could be useful to someone." He says, looking down at Lee's leg. "Looks like you hurt your leg pretty bad there."
"Yeah. Doesn't hurt as much since Chris gave me some painkillers a few hours ago."
"I can help you out. Shawn, run on inside and check on your sister. You, take a seat up on the porch and I'll go see what I have." He said as he walked back inside.
As Lee walked up to the purch and sat on the bench the twins wait silently by the wooden steps. As he rexits the house he says, "Let's have a look." while hlding a set of bandages. "Yeah, this swollen is to Hell."
"It HURTS like Hell but could be worse."
"I bet it does Lee. Don't worry though, I'll do what I can for now and check it out one more time before you leave tomorrow."
"Thanks."
"By the way, my name's Hershel Greene. So how did this happen?" Hershel asked as he wraped the badages around Lee's right leg.
"I was in a car accident."
"Were you with the kids?"
"No. I found them after the accident. Before that I was on my way out of town."
"Alone or with someone?"
"A police officer gave me a ride."
"What type of danger have the kids seen?"
"Their safe now. That's all that matters."
"So your serious about taking care of them then?"
"Yes. What else could I do?" Lee says.
"House is full up with mine. We've got another displaced family of three sleeping in the barn. You and your kids are welcome to rest there for the night when we're done here."
Shawn the exit's the house and speaks. "Hey dad, so I'm thinking that in tomorrow morning, we gotta reinforce the fence around the farm."
"That doesn't seem necessary son."
"I don't know what you saw in TV or heard on the radio, but there's some very serious... SHIT hitting the fan. I don't think that anybody know how big this is yet."
"Your son's right. Your going to want to fortify this place as soon as you can."
"You know that stuff like that dosen't happen around here, Shawn."
"Dad, I'm being very serious here. Come on Lee, tell him what you saw out there, man."
"I got chased by a couple of dead people that were walking around."
"Well do what you think you should. We've got plenty of chores around here already." Hershel told them.
"Lee and those fokes in the barn can help out in the morning. We gotta do it, really."
"I already told you okay." He tells his son as he turns around and walks back inside for the night. "Well I'm all done here. It should start to feel better by tomorrow morning."
"Thanks."
"If the leg get's hot or if the swelling dosen't go down; you might be dealing with an infection."
"What do we do if that happens?"
"We might just have to shoot you." He says with a hidden laugh. "We'll clean it, re-dress it and you'll be fine."
"Okay. That'd be preferable."
"There's blankets and such in the barn. We'll be seeing you bright and early so sleep for as long as you can. Come tomorrow, where do you think your headed?"
"Towards Macon, I suppose." He tells the old man as he turns around and smiles at the twins before heading inside. "All right then. Come on kids, let's go and get some sleep."
Later that night.
Chris' P.O.V.
I put my stuff to my left next beside Clem's. I checked me gun, reloaded it and put it in my pack. After that I tried to fall asleep and almost did when I heard Lee wake up in shock.
"Gah!"
"You okay Lee?" I asked him as he looked at me.
"I'm fine Chris."
"Bad dream right?"
"Yep."
"Don't worry, I get them too sometimes. It's all part of being who we are right?"
"I suppose it is. Anyway, try to get soem sleep Chris."
"I will. Night Lee." I said as he went back to sleep. So after that I at long last fell asleep too. Whatever was to come, I'd be ready to keep both Clem and now Lee safe.
So what do you think? Good? Bad? Should I keep going or give up on this idea? Let me know by Pm-ing me and I'll see if another chapter could happen in the future. Until then, later and thanks for reading. Also it only took me about a day to make this chapter since I had the time to get the work done.
