A/N I wrote this on my phone. New record. Has anyone ever noticed in the movie that only two of that whole elf army actually lived? They were running up the steps to the left. Plus, they were never mentioned again so...Lothlorien has a big population issue to deal with.

"...You are the only two that survived that battle, out of that entire army we sent to Helms Deep?"

The two messy and blood covered elf soldiers nodded their heads, sheepish.

Galadriel looked disconcerted on a grand scale by this news. Celeborn looked disbelieving, while simultanously looking smug. He was not to be blamed for history-noted-mistakes, finally!

"Yes, lady...we are the only ones that lived."

"Impossible!" Galadriel shouted, "Surely a few dozen or a hundred still live!"

"We would not dare lie to you!" One of the elf-men exclaimed, "We searched every one of them, and every last elf save us and prince Legolas were dead."

They were dismissed five minutes later.

Galadriel stared from their telan across Caras Galadhon. She saw a disturbing number of dead elf-maids on different platforms due to heartbreak from their husbands being slain in Rohan. There was barely any sound except the creaking of wood.

Celeborn lurked over her shoulder, "Any plans on helping Thranduil is now destroyed. We can not even be considered a realm anymore the population is so low." He paused, "I think you trumped the death count of all the kinslayings combined."

"ELROND!"
