Author's Note: Okay, so. About my previous Rob/Rae fanfiction: I realised that I hadn't finished it yet and that I had left it on a sort of cliffhanger. I'm sorry to the 0.0000001% of you all that wanted to read more until the ending, but I've decided to stop writing that story because the plot wasn't going where I wanted it to. I also wasn't sure how to continue it and get to the end where I had everything planned out, so it just won't happen. ANYWAY in this new story, Robin saves Raven from dying in a way that causes tension and angst between him and Starfire, so he starts to lean towards Raven. Here is the first chapter, so let's get on with it. Enjoy!

Don't Leave Me Alone

Chapter 1

As the day wandered forward, the superhero team that went by the name of Teen Titans were lounging about in their wondrous and very spacious Titans Tower, located in Jump City. The green-skinned changeling that was known as Beast Boy and his brother from another mother, the self-titled Cyborg, were virtually battling each other with pristine white controllers in their hands, their Internet duel displayed on the enormous T.V screen in front of them.

The gorgeous and always-beaming alien princess Starfire was feeding her pet alien silkworm named Silkie with content, sitting huddled in the kitchen corner and distracting herself from any other contact with the Titans.

The brooding, yet cunning, half-demon Raven was sitting cross-legged on the farthest edge of the Titans' red, semi-circle couch, reading one of her Azarathian books and doing her best to block out the commotion coming from in front of her.

And finally, the talented, agility-trained, athletic, and incredibly handsome leader of the Titans, named Robin, was sitting at the kitchen table, rifling and skimming through his regular Jump City newspapers. Being basically chief of the Titans, Robin took on a lot of responsibility and wouldn't let any tiny or irrelevant distraction take him away from his work.

"Yes! I knew I'd beat you yet again, BB," Cyborg chanted in victory, giving a smug smile to his best friend and colleague.

"Dude, I know you cheated! There's no way you could score fourteen wins in a row!" Beast Boy shouted back at Cyborg, an accusatory and deflated expression on his face.

"Well, fourteen is my lucky number," Cyborg told him.

"Really, I thought it was blue," Beast Boy was not very bright.

All the stunning demoness had to do was roll her eyes and go back to reading her thick-spined book, ignoring everyone and everything. And as Starfire proceeded to stuff beige mush into her pet's mouth, she exclaimed, "Oh, joy! Victory yet again, Friend Cyborg?"

"You know it, Star!" the half-robot shouted back, overly happy for some reason.

And all was well and good, until-

HONK! HONK! HONK! (help me) The gigantic television screen at the front-centre of the living area was blaring a bright red, a sign reading 'CRIME ALERT' repeatedly showing up in its midst.

"Crime alert!" Robin alerted them, as if they hadn't already gotten the memo. "Johnny Rancid is wreaking havoc on the city again," he warned his elite group of fighters, all before giving his usual catchphrase: "Titans, go!"

And they all sped out into the city.

Mkay, so that was chapter one, as you know. I intend to update the story as quickly as possible so I don't leave readers hanging. So anyway, onward to the next chapter!
