Chapter 1- Going through hell with a baby on the way!
Sarafina was screaming. Another Lion had just killed her husband, Haru. He had not even got to see his unborn child. Sarafina felt like killing herself but knew she couldn't for if she did her baby would also die.
Sarafina decided to run. Run away from her pride and find a new one.
Sarafina had run for days. Her baby must be due any day soon. She a found water hole and drank the cool fresh water.
A hippo came up to her. He said, "Why do you look so tired?"
Sarafina replied and told him what had happened over the past week and how she was due for a baby. She told him how she needed a new pride.
The hippo said "I know a pride, my friends son is the king. The king is called Mufasa, he will treat you right ."
"Thank you" Sarafina replied. "How do I find this pride?" She asked.
He answered "Go down the hill and walk straight until you find a beach. Walk along it until there is no more. Turn left and walk until you find a jungle with a waterfall. Come out of there and make a right. You will find a place with a tall pointy rock at the end. It is called Pride Rock. Ask for Mufasa. Say that Arish sent you and that you are pregnant. He takes pity on those pregnant."
"Thank you so much!" Sarafina replied trying to remember everything. "I will never forget you!"
Sarafina ran and ran across the beach, through the jungle to pride rock. When she got there she did as Arish said and asked for Mufasa. A large gold coated, red mained lion came out. He said in a deep voice "What do you want?"
Sarafina replied "Please I left my old pride, my husband was killed, I'm pregnant, I have been walking for days without food and Arish said this was a good pride and you were a good, fair king."
"Hold on there!" He stated. "Of course you can become part of my pride, it looks like you have had a rough couple of days. Come in I will introduce you to everyone." Sarafina thanked Mufasa and headed in.
