"Hey, FF, have you—"
Sollux stopped mid-step in the doorway, looking at his roommate and her guest sitting on the couch.
Feferi turned to look to him and smiled innocently. "Hi, Sollux."
Her guest leaned forward and smiled mischievously. He studied Sollux carefully, then broke eye contact and his gaze floated downward.
Sollux panicked internally before reassuring himself that, yes, he was indeed wearing boxers. He still resisted the urge to look down and check however.
The stranger's gaze suddenly snapped back up. "Hey," he said rather casually, though Sollux detected a sort of sly undertone.
"Uh, hi," Sollux greeted, then looked quickly at Feferi, as if doing so would render himself invisible to the stranger. "You didn't tell me that you were having guests."
"Sorry." Feferi giggled. "Eridan decided to surprise me."
"I'll be leaving in a few moments," Eridan said. His smirk was actually starting to infuriate Sollux with its smugness.
Sollux nodded, then fled to the bathroom, not wanting to embarrass himself further. Right, he thought, reaching for his toothbrush. Just yet another thing Feferi will never let me live down.
He brushed his teeth distractedly, and glanced up at the mirror. The lettering on his shirt caught his attention, and he deciphered the mirrored words quickly:
"Say hey if you're gay."
Oh my god.
"FF! What was that guy's name again?!"
