Chapter 1: Wedding
Mark: After the scare with Mimi two months ago, Maureen, Joanne, Roger, and Mimi realized that can't live without one another. It is Valentine's Day, and we were at the church where a double marriage was being held. My friends were getting married. It had just become legal for gay couples in the state of New York. I lived with Roger and Mimi in our same apartment. Maureen was living with Joanne. All was right, except for Benny, Allison divorced him once she found out that he was cheating on her. But life went on.
Chapter 2: Santa Fe:
Roger: I had already lived in Santa Fe, and I had my own place there. So Me, Mimi, Maureen, Joanne, Mark, and Collins saved up our money and moved down there. Collins opened his own restaurant with Mark which they named the only thing that has ever been on Collins' mind, Angel. Maureen and Joanne and found their own place and Collins and Mark shared an apartment above their restaurant. Life was good. Yeaaahhh.
Chapter 3: To lose a loved one:
Mimi: Roger had fallen ill. Me and Mark never left his side in the hospital. It had been 3 years since we moved to Santa Fe. We all reached our goal to find a better life than in New York. As soon as we moved here I got off drugs ive been clean ever since. I had found my family in California. All of them but my cousin had been shipped back to Puerto Rico. He had told me of this. I couldn't help but to feel guilty. But it was impossible to do anything. I had to stay with Roger. Roger died within the week. We all weren't taking it to well. After Angel, the scare with me, and now Roger. Mark was taking it the worse. His longest and closest friend died but life went on. Our family slowly was dying away.
Chapter 4: 10 years later:
Joanne: Mimi had started to help Collins and Mark with the restaurant after Roger died. Everyone was doing well for the most part. We had gotten word that Allison got revenge on Benny who was now in Jail. She framed him for murder. Which was ironic cause he did kill a hooker on accident when all lived in New York. I and Maureen had moved to Hollywood. Maureen and Mark wrote a movie script based off of Mark's film that he made. They called it RENT. And we were all co-producing and directing it. She had become an actress and I dropped being a lawyer and now owned a studio.
Chapter 5: 10 years after:
Mimi: Last year when Mark was visiting Maureen and Joanne, he was mugged and shot. After Mark's funeral; it hit Collins that the end could come at any time. He had moved back to New York to wait for his day to come which doesn't come for another 5 years. I closed the restaurant and moved in with Maureen and Joanne. RENT was a big hit. They had turned it into a musical that has been on Broadway. I had found a surrogate mother and I am now a mother of two, Roger and Mark. Twins. Maureen and Joanne adopted a baby girl and boy and named them Angel and Tom.
Chapter 6: Old age:
Mimi: I am now 85 years old. Maureen and Joanne died last year at ages 90 and 93. I know that my day is coming soon. Its ironic, I was supposed to die back when I was 19. Look at me now im the last one of us to die. Im laying in my hospital bed surrounded by my family. I can see a tunnel with a warm light at the end. And I could swear Angel was there and she looked the same as I remember. All my friends were there as if none of them aged a day since before Angel's death. I walked to them and they all surrounded me in a hug. I was no longer my 85 year old self but as I looked as I did all those years ago. Our family never died. We've been together for a long time. We had our ups and downs but in the end we found our Bohemia together.
