Elemental World

Leila, Laura, Astrid and Emily's lives were turned upside down when they discovered that they were the guardians of the four elements in the elemental world just like their mothers but can they keep their secret and control their powers while living their lives as normal teenage girls.

Elemental World- Prologue

In our world, there are four main elements: Water, Fire, Air and Earth. Each element had their own world inside an Elemental World and was assigned a guardian to watch over them. These guardians protected the people of the elemental worlds and made sure nothing would affect the human world as it was defenceless from the elements as they were too powerful. This had happened since time began until 1841 when a scientist named George Powell discovered the elemental worlds and captured the guardians and took them back to the city in order to display them as freaks. The guardians were horribly beaten and mocked at by passers-by and within 5 years, the guardians were dead. During this time, the elemental worlds fell apart. Riots were a daily basis and the citizens were constantly living in fear of what was to come. This was life for the next 150 years.

In 1991, 150 years after the original guardian's deaths, a dragon named Renshi who was living in the gateway between all of the element worlds and the human world decided that new guardians needed to be appointed for the elemental worlds before the human world gets affected. He chose four girls who he thought suited the personalities of the four elements, those girls were: Megan Richards, Lara Baker, Stephanie Harper and Freya Spencer. They managed to bring the elemental worlds to the peace and harmony they had over 150 years ago before the guardians died.

But a few years later, the girls decided that they wanted to have jobs and start families and eventually leave the elemental world but made a promise to Renshi that they would one day come back if not through them, but through their daughters. As they were about to cross the gateway, Renshi gave them amulets which would remind them of the elemental worlds and the people that lived there which they could pass down to their daughters. After tearful goodbyes, the girls left and passed through the gateway. They tried to stay in touch with each other, as they became best friends during their time as guardians but eventually lost contact with each other.

And this is where our story begins in 2016 with Megan's daughter Emily, Lara's daughter Laura, Stephanie's daughter Astrid and Freya's daughter Leila.
