Professor Albus Dumbledore stood up in front of the mass of witches and wizards
that were seated in the Great Hall of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
He smiled down at the great collection of students proud of everyone of them in
their own way. Usually everything stayed pretty much the same at Hogwarts.
Students attended their classes during the week and then got the weekend off.
Today though he had a announcement to make to them. He stood up and looked
over the four houses all seated at their own table. There was Gryffindor, Slytherin.
Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff . He surveyed them all and then raised his hands and
his booming voice rang throughout the room. " Students If I could have you
attention Please!" He waited patiently while the great hall slowly quieted. " I have
an announcement to make. I would like you all to welcome a new student to our
school. She is a sixth year transfer student from Durmstrang. Her name is Julia and
she has already been sorted into Gryffindor. Please Give her a warm welcome. The
Great Hall erupted in applause from the Gryffindor table.
Julie Johnston felt her face grow red as the whole Gryffindor table reached out to
shake her hand a congratulate her for being sorted into their house. She was seated
by a trio of 2 wizards and a witch who introduced themselves as Harry Potter,
Hermione Granger , and Ron Weasley. She smiled noticing the scar on Harry's
forehead she knew he was the famous Harry Potter that everyone idolized at
Durmstrang . She smiled and started to eat while talking the whole time with
Harry, Ron, and Hermione. When it was time to head to the houses she walked
with them all the way. She had really hit it off with Hermione and they had talked
the whole way. That was until a voice boomed behind them "Hey Potter, Granger,
Wait Up!" She saw a scowl come upon Ron's face " Shove Off ,Malfoy!" he said
anger evident in every word. "Oh Sorry Weasel I guess I forgot about you!" he
said smartly. The boy then turned to Julia. He had blond hair and a pale face he
was muscular and quite Handsome. "Sorry about your unfortunate luck being
sorted into Gryffindor." He had a smirk on his face Julia didn't trust. "I'm Draco
Malfoy" He continued. "Leave Us alone Malfoy!" Hermione growled. "Shut Your
Mouth you Filthy Little Mudblood! Nobody listens to you!"He shot back. Julia
saw tears well up in Hermione's eyes and had a immediate dislke for this boy. She
could tell he was a Slytherin by the Serpent on his Robe. " Julia" she said smartly
" Julia Johnston and if you don't mind we'll be going" she said curtly and turned
around to follow her friends to the common room. When they got their Ron was
still fuming over what Draco had said to Hermione. "He's such an Ass I'd kill him
if I had the chance!" he yelled "Oh it's okay Ron" Hermione said gently . She had
gotten over Malfoy's insult. "There's no use getting mad over it. He'll get what he
deserves one day." Julia smiled and agreed with Hermione. Harry interrupted and
told them it was late and they better head to bed. Julia agreed and asked Hermione
to show her to her bed. Hermione smiled and lead the way.
