"Shiki...give me some Pocky."
"Mmmmm..come here and get it yourself Rima."
"Nuu..."
"Why?"
"Because, I'm tired."
"Well I'm tired too."
"Senri. Don't make me come over there and hurt you."
Her sapphire eyes flashed dangerously, daring him to stay in that position for a second more.
"Fine Rima."
He slowly got up, making his way toward her and carefully taking a Pocky stick out of the colorful box. He dangled it teasingly in front of her face, laughing as her face scrunched up in frustration as she tried to bite the snack. She grabbed his hand and pulled it toward her. She quickly demolished it and tried to steal another one, but Shiki elegantly danced away. Rima darted out of her seat, chasing him around the room.
"And I thought you were tired...," said Shiki.
He placed the box on a table, grabbed her arm and pulled her close. Their affection for each other was not a thing to be missed. Suddenly, he picked her up bridal style and carrid her to his room. She gave a small yelp of protest as he plopped her down on his bed.
"What are you doing?" Rima asked, while standing up again.
Instead of replying, Shiki wrapped his arms around her waist, burrowed his head into her hair and hugged her tightly.
"Neh, Shiki..."
"Hai."
"I'm tired."
"Then let us go to sleep."
He guided her into the bed and held her close. With his forehead against hers, he stared deeply into her eyes. He loved her with a great passion and everyone knew it.
He carefully brushed his lips against hers. It was a soft, sweet kiss and it nearly drove Rima insane. She wanted more. She pressed back, entangling her hand into his spiky mahogany hair. Suddenly, he withdrew and pressed his forehead against hers.
"Neh Rima…"
"Mmm…?"
"Aishiteru,"
"I love you too."
He smiled and closed his eyes.
