Sona floated out of a bush by the Baron, looking around warily. The enemy jungler had been seriously harassing top and mid, and she suspected she knew the path he was taking between the lanes. She placed a ward, taking a moment to ensure its proper placement, though being this close to enemy territory without her teammates to back her up put her on edge. It faded slightly, becoming invisible to the opposing team, and she turned to go back to her lane. As she did, there was a rustle from the brush behind her. Knowing that it couldn't possibly be one of her teammates, she quickly played her Song of Celerity to speed herself up, hoping to make it to their nearest turret, mid, before whatever was behind her could catch up. This bought her only a second, as Kha'Zix leapt out. He missed his leap, but quickly turned to slash at her. The attack connected, taking a big chunk of her health. In response, she switched to playing her Aria of Perseverance, trying to give herself enough endurance to make it. Kha'Zix attacked her again, slicing even more health away.
Just then, there was a whirring, quickly growing louder. It attracted the attention of both of the champions. From the river came Rammus, racing down from the top lane in his Powerball. He crashed into Kha'Zix, knocking him away from Sona. Taunting the insect into attacking him, the Armordillo used his Defensive Ball Curl to reflect damage back to the enemy. While Rammus distracted their enemy, Sona assisted in fighting him, alternating between her Hymn of Valor to cut at the Kha'Zix and encourage Rammus, and her Aria to heal and protect them both. Between the two of them, their foe fell quickly. Afterwards, Rammus headed back to the top lane, with Sona healing him and speeding him on his way, before moving into a bush to recall.
After the battle, the champions returned to the platform they had been summoned from. The other three champions that had been on their team left to go celebrate their victory, chatting with each other. Sona hung back, turning to face Rammus. Kneeling down to be on eye level with him, she gave him a quick kiss on his cheek. She stood up and turned to go, a small smile on her face and a touch of blush on her cheeks.
