"Aibou," Yami whispered, resting a translucent hand on the young boy's shoulder. "Are you sure this is what you want?"
Yugi nodded determinedly, clutching the puzzle in his hands. "I've never been more sure. We've been waiting for this for months. I've passed up so many opportunities, and I don't think I can wait much longer."
"You won't have to," the former Pharaoh said, giving Yugi a soft kiss on the forehead. "This day has been a long time coming...for the both of us."
"I know," Yugi said, smiling as he took the deck from his belt and setting it in the puzzle box. He opened his sock drawer and pulled out every roll of quarters he had, stuffing them into pockets and the holster at his waist. He had done the calculations over and over again, saving up his paycheck from the game shop until he had more than enough, just in case they needed more than one round to succeed.
"Let's do this," he said confidently, striding out of the game shop and heading for the relatively new arcade down the street. The owner had issued a challenge upon the grand opening, that anyone who could beat all two-hundred and fifty of the arcade's machines would win a prize. And who better to take that challenge than the King of Games?
