Forget My Horrid Past
A.N/I DON'T OWN HARRY POTTER
Luna Lovegood walked down the dirt path of Sydenham Hill Woods. She reckoned that once she decided to permanently stay in London, she would take constant walks around woods, currently having Sydenham her favorite. She walked onto the metal bridge, peering down at the path underneath her. Many of her muggle friends hosted lovely picnics here that she greatly enjoyed. She looked at the deep forest in front, reminding her the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts, and the Thestrals that roamed the ground. She sadly sighed and continued strolling. Finding some ruins in the forest, she slightly brushed her hand against them, she heard a stick crack and quickly aimed her wand at the noise, finding Blaise Zabini.
"What are you doing here?" Luna asked in her soft airy voice, putting her wand down.
"I'm just walking." Blaise answered not skipping a beat. Luna looked up at him with her green eyes. Her light hair swishing in the wind. Blaise looked down at the witch, it was a really awkward silence.
"Maybe you can accompany me on my walk?" Blaise suggested. Luna nodded and they walked. The sun seemed to shine brighter and the birds chirped louder. Blaise couldn't help but admit that she looked beautiful in the sun. He always felt that way, ever since the sorting ceremony, but never really admitted the feeling. He liked the way her almost white hair flew with the wind. He liked her quirkiness, her calm voice… They continued through the forest.
"So, what brings you into the woods?" Luna calmly asked,
"Well, I guess I live really closely, to be exact, Sydenham Street. Once I found out about these woods, I thought maybe I could take a look. I've been doing this ever since. What brings you here?
"I miss the Forbidden Forest." Luna admitted, sadly looking in the distance. They finished their short walk and parted ways.
"Hope I see you again Luna" said Blaise.
"Yes, I hope so," Luna said with a slight smile.
