Tweek's battle with anxiety and paranoia was well known within South Park. Everyone knew everything and everyone in small towns so it was expected. However, no one truly knew about Tweek's stuggles. No one knew that he had to take four pills everyday just so he could act somewhat normally. No one knew that he drank so much coffee because he hated the blank and exhausted feeling the medicines gave him. No one knew except Craig.
Craig was always there for Tweek. Craig knew when Tweek was having a bad day. Craig knew and accepted it and Tweek loved him because of that. The Asian girls only helped Tweek get together with Craig. Once he confessed to Craig in his backyard, they had been inseparable. Tweek became more confident with Craig around to the point where he could hold a conversation without stuttering or screaming randomly.
However, all good things come to an end.
It started with Cartman's stupid superhero game. Tweek knew it was going to end badly but Token and Clyde wanted him and Craig to play with them so he did. Tweek walked out of Cartman's franchise with Kenny, Stan, and Token after they had enough of Cartman's controlling over the movies. Tweek thought Craig would follow, but he didn't. Slowly, their relationship strained because of the stupid game. Everyone saw how Craig's absence affected Tweek as he went back to stuttering and twitching from the caffeine overdose.
Tweek started to get angry even though he knew it was stupid. He was being petty so he kept Craig's laptop. When his parents asked him to go talk to Mr. Mackey about his and Craig's fight, Tweek knew. Tweek knew his parents were working with the Tucker's to secretly force their children into consoling with Mr. Mackey. He knew but he still went at the time they asked him because he wanted to fix it with Craig. He was slowly going crazy and the town knew it.
Mr. Mackey's solution worked, however unethical it was. Tweek smiled brightly when him and Craig made up. He could not get the smile off his face no matter how hard he tried. But Tweek didn't care as long as Craig kept the small smile on his face.
