A short TLC ship piece i did. Somewhat Fluffy. Anyways i don't own the lunar chronicles and if i did i wouldn't know what to do with it
Jacin had been already waiting for the princess of a grand total of an hour and thirty seven whole minutes he thought to himself as he leaned against Winters door. Not that he minded waiting.
He had been sent to escort her to Queen Levenas Party. As she had parties once every moon it didn't deem Jacin to think this one was was anymore important as any of the other ones.
Jacin grumpily folded his arms together.
The real problem was how princess Winters late arrival to the party might reflect upon how Levana would treat her the next day. Worry crossed across his gut. Of course Winter had properly never thought of these things. Even know, he could hear her sing softly through the wooden doors that separated them.
He closed his eyes for a moment and imagined what she was doing inside her room. Often, he would ponder this. Jacin spent most his days guarding his princess. Winter spent most her days inside her room with her pets. Jacin frowned for a moment, before he could get to deep in thought he instinctively knocked on the door.
"Princess Winter, are you almost ready to attend the party?" he asked without emotion.
"Oooh, Soon!" She called back "I just need one more thing."
The sound of someone scurrying around inside the room could be heard.
"Do you need any help-?"
"Found it!" She almost yelled. Jacin looked both ways across the hall to see if any drunken wanderers had come this far in the castles halls and had heard the princess.
"I still need your help," She called.
Jacin gleefully obliged and opened the doors and almost gasped at what he saw.
Standing a few feet away from him was Winter looking as gorgeous as ever. She wore a scarlet strapless ball gown. Jacin usually was carefully with not letting himself stare too much, but today he was off his game in that aspect. Her hair and lips were the same as normal, the rouge red lips and the curled black she wore golden eye makeup that shinned off her flawless skin. The dress was puffed out around her. Different colors of red satin flowed around it. The V neck with decorated with golden beads.
Winter seem oblivious to the fact that she was a walking goddess today. She was always a goddess to Jacin but he kept that in the back of his head.
Winter caught him staring, she giggled and spun around to show how the dress looked flared out.
Jacin face flushed."What do you need help with?"
Winter handed him a necklace that was made of small interwoven golden chains. "I need help putting this on," She said as she turned around to face her back to his front.
Jacin clipped the necklace around her neck. He rested his hand on her shoulder Winter tilted her head onto it. He held his hand there for a moment, not knowing what to do.
Luckily Winter quickly maneuvered around and looped her arms together with her prince.
"We should be getting to that party, I'm famished," She said.
Jacin softly laughed "I'm afraid you already missed dinner."
"Then straight to dancing then. You'll be my partner, right?" Winter looked at him with the face that she used to get everything from him.
The face he could never say no too.
The girl that he worried about none stop.
The princess he loved.
"I would be my honor."
Hoped you enjoyed !
