A Good Life
For the first time in many thousands of years, the fox shed a tear. The all-powerful, seemingly all-knowing demon, was crying. The one and only human who ever cared for him, who remained civil enough to listen to him, was lying sprawled in a valley, the life draining out of him. The fox's only consolation was that the boy's enemy was close to death as well, with a kunai in his chest and a spiral wound in his left thigh.
"Guess this is it then, huh?" Naruto croaked, tears running down his cheeks. "This is the end?"
Sasuke turned his head, and strained to look through the red that had enveloped his supposedly unstoppable Eternal Mangyeko Sharingan.
"You must really be an idiot if you think either of us are gunna survive this." Sasuke wheezed, one lung pierced by the kunai.
"Any regrets?"
"Many. I never got to make a Sasuke Jr."
"Did you even lose your virginity?" Naruto cracked a small smile.
"Yes I did, you idiot" Sasuke looked away.
"Oh yeah? To whom?"
"None of your business."
Naruto chuckled. To him, this was the best way to go. With your best friend, and a smile on your face. He looked over to Sasuke, whose eyes were slowly drooping. He looked at the blood pouring out of the hole in his chest and decided to use the last of his strength to make things right.

Hinata was sprinting as fast as possible through the trees, eyes blurred with tears. Her heart was pounding. She knew something was wrong. As she burst though the treeline, her mind froze. Naruto, the love of her life, was dead. She walked towards him, seemingly in a trance. He was dead. Hinata sank to her knees and screamed.
"NOOOOOOOOOO"
She pounded the ground with her fists, sobbing. She looked back up, and though her tears saw a note written in blood next to Naruto.
"He died a hero. We both did. Don't focus on us. Live on"
AN: So how do you like it? I certainly did. I need a beta! PM if you're interested. As I'm in Secondary (High) school, I can't upload regularly. PM with criticism, flames included. I don't particularly care. But thanks for reading!
