I yawned as I strolled down the hill to Camp Half-Blood. I frowned to myself as I noticed the silence enveloping the camp. What happened? I saw a single column of smoke rising from the training area. Eyes widening, I sprinted down down toward the center of camp. I groaned internally. I go away for a week on a quest and this is what happens? I skidded to a stop at the edge of the training area, and saw a sight that would haunt me for the rest of my life.

The horn sound vibrating through the air woke me from a dreamy sleep. I yawned as I pulled on a jacket and pulled on some shoes. Sprinting outside toward the barrier, I uncapped Riptide. From the corner of my eye, I saw Annabeth pulling her hair into a ponytail, then reaching for the sword at her side. I chucked. Typical Athena kids, keeping weapons neatly stacked and organized by the door. I waved and together we ran towards the "alert" next to Thalia's tree. When we got there, we split ways and I ran towards the right of the tree, hacking through a hellhound in my way. "Hey Thalia! Care to help?", I whooped at the silver-clad hunters running towards me. "Now when you're taking all the good ones", Thalia hollered back. Cutting through a empousai, I ran to Chiron. "Whats the emergency?" Chiron looked anxious as he reloaded and shot at the horde of monsters. "I'm concerned about how small this horde is. Usually they come in bigger forces. I think a higher intelligence is behind this." I wondered what that would mean as I ran towards the back of camp, assuming that Chiron wanted me to check the other side of camp. "Hey Wise Girl, wanna come with?" I asked, pointing into camp. "Sure! Lead the way Seaweed Brain." I took off towards the left while Annabeth stayed to the right side...

All the gods were gathered around in a semicircle, facing the campers, with their backs towards me. "...all in favor of elimination Jackson due to his being unstable and his association with Gaea, raise your hand." With a sickening feeling, I watched as all the campers and gods raise their hands, with the exception of a few. Those few being, my dad, with tears streaming down his face, Apollo, Hermes, surprisingly Artemis, Nico, Thalia, and Aphrodite. "Since this vote is obviously in favor of eliminating Jackson, we will continue with that immediately. He should be coming any time now."

Shocked, I stepped out into the light of the fire. "Oh, it's you", Annabeth sneered. "Guess you didn't love me enough to stay away from Gaea." "And ruining all our stuff? Not cool dude", chorused Connor and Travis in unison. "How could do that Perseus?" sobbed Katie. "Guys, I didn't do anything", I protested. "Sure you didn't", Zeus glared, "not until you turned your backs on all of us." He fired a lightning bolt at me. "Consider him eliminated".
