The shower is still running. It's been running for nearly an hour and the pipes squeak in protest. Anders watches the closed bathroom door, considers knocking, pounding, and demanding she come out right now.
Dawn won't listen, though.
Their bed has been stripped. Everything goes into the washer with a new detergent. Dryer sheets will do their best to remove that apple stink.
In the kitchen, Ty gathers up another pile of broken glass.
Anders drives off again because she won't come out of the bathroom and their liquor cabinet is empty. No matter how hard he tries, fights and begs Bragi, he'll come home smelling like apples.
