Sheldon and Amy go to Stockholm for the Nobel prize ceremony. Everything belongs to Lorre and Prady, except the winner of the chemistry Nobel prize :-)

Sheldon and Amy walked into the Stockholm Concert Hall, both were very formally dressed, Sheldon in white tie and tails and Amy in a formal ball gown. They were dressed like this as they were going to be in the presence of the King of Sweden at the annual Nobel prize presentation ceremony.

Amy grabbed her husband's hand as they approached the centre of the hall.

Sheldon, just look at this place! I never thought that we would ever be here for this.

Oh Amy, I was never in doubt that we would be here in Stockholm for this, not for one minute.

I wish I had your confidence.

I just heard from Leonard, the main auditorium at Caltech is full to bursting with people watching the ceremony on the big screen.

Well this is by no means the first Nobel for Caltech, Feynman won the Nobel prize.

This is better than Feynman!

You know that we can't sit together for the ceremony, there are special seats for the Nobel laureates in the front row.

Yes I know Amy.

Sheldon kissed his wife and they went to their separate seating areas.

Then there was a fanfare as the King of Sweden entered and everyone stood for the national anthem of Sweden. Then it was time for the prizes to be presented.

First up was the winner of the Nobel prize in Chemistry. It was announced (in Swedish).

"The winner of the Nobel prize in Chemistry, Professor Tony Bell of the University of Cambridge." (this is my story and my fantasy :-)).

To great applause Professor Bell went up, bowed in front of the King and received his medal and diploma.

Then it was announced (in Swedish)

"The winner of the Nobel prize in Medicine or Physiology, Professor Amy Cooper of Caltech."

To even greater applause Amy went up, bowed in front of the King and received her medal and diploma...
