"I honestly never thought I would see this day." Steve said as he danced around the room. He held his girlfriend close to him as they twirled around.
"I don't think anyone would have expected Tony Stark to get married." Maria said laughing in his arms. Steve's grip around her waist tightened and pulled her closer to his body.
"I never thought I would be here with you." He said in a low voice, resting his forehead against hers.
"Me neither." She whispered before leaning up and kissing him softly. They continued to sway along to the music; completely and utterly content.
