Syed knew that he had to do something. He couldn't stand his mother being so horrid to his best friend. She just didn't understand the he could never love Amira the way he loved Christian. Now he just had to tell everyone else that.

He made his way up the steps to Christian's flat & rang the bell. Syed had promised himself that he would stay calm when the door was opened but as per usual, his emotions went to pot the minute Christian answered. Without giving Christian time to even talk he flung himself on his ex-lover, lips & tongue demanding entrance into the mouth he knew so well.

Eventually they pulled apart, both gasping for breath, but Syed's hands were still roaming over the body he missed so dearly. Christian came to his senses & grabbed his hands tightly.

"For Gods sake Sy" he yelled. "What the hell is wrong with you! You know we can't do this!"

Syed moaned into the older man's shoulder. "Why Christian? Why?" he lifted his head to look into Christian's eyes. " You're as bad as mum sometimes you know that? All I want to do is be happy with my life & I cant do that without you Christian. Please?"

"What do you want me to do Syed? Be you're dirty little secret again? Because if that's what you want, I'm not doing it."

Syed lifted his hands to cup Christian's face. "No. That's not what I want, not anymore. I love you Christian. Please tell me you still love me too because I want us back. Me & you together for real. Tell me you want that?" Syed almost sounded like he was begging when he finished speaking. Christian had never heard him sound so scared.

"Is that what you really think of me Sy? That I could just forget how much I love you because you got married?"

Christian spotted the "I don't know anything anymore" look on his lovers face then mirrored Syed's earlier actions as he took the young man's face in his hands. "I will always love you Sy, no matter what, but are you sure you want to risk your whole life on me?"

He nodded painfully slowly as he realised what he was about to do. "Yes Christian, I'm sure. I have been sure since before the wedding but mum saw to that didn't she?"

Christian stared at him through very confused eyes. "What?"

"Mum made me carry on with the wedding Christian. I didn't want to, I wanted to be with you for the rest of my life but she said I wouldn't be her son & that my feeling for you would pass." He was almost crying now and let Christian engulf him in a giant bear hug before carrying on. "I had even started to hope they would as well, but they just wont go away. I tried Christian I really did. I didn't what to have to hurt any of you like this." Now there really were tears streaming down his cheeks. Christian put his finger under Syed's chin to lift his head up then began to wipe away the tears. "Seeing you hurting was what hurt me most Sy" Christian smiled lightly & cheekily as his lovers tears began to cease, "but this time babe, we're sticking it out together"
