This is just a little bit of fun, a funny episode that may have happened between Nick and Claudia.

Claudia Brown stood not far from the window, and looked out over the city of London, mothers pushed their babies in the pram or held tight to the hand of their tot, men dressed in suites power walked their way to work, teenagers collected around the corners and kids made their way to school.

The door opened but Claudia was too transfixed to the scene of every day life in London to notice Nick Cutter close the door behind him and watch her back.

He walked to her side to see what she was observing below them.

'Are you thinking about what might happen to them?' Claudia turned to face him, but her eyes stayed fixed on the people unaware of their observers above.

'They're innocent, any one of them could get hurt, or worse - I mean we've lost seven men already, four where innocent bystanders…ordinary people.' If Claudia was supposed to be showing emotion in her voice she certainly wasn't.

She looked at Nick and sighed.

'Don't beat yourself up about it; you're just doing your job,' he stared back at her, their eyes met, 'O.K., well I work with dead dinosaurs, what do I know?' Claudia laughed at this before she turned away to calm down and resume their "serious" conversation.

'I'm serious Nick. The Home Office needs you and your knowledge if we're going to defend ourselves and England, if not that, the world.'

'You make me feel so much better, well; I should get back to the University, got to teach a load of boffs about dead dinosaurs.'

'Why do you keep saying "dead dinosaurs", they're extinct, none are left. Well, except those coming through the Anomalies, but they'll all die.' Nick looked at Claudia with a twinkle in his eye, as at that particular moment a bird flew past the window.

Please review, I want to know if you like it and I might carry it on if you wish!
