Hogwarts had many forgotten broom closets and cupboards that were ever-changing like the staircases and passage ways. And that is where one could find young Colin Creevey this quiet spring night.
"Dennis will be so excited to see these pictures!" the young boy squeaked cheerily while skipping along throughout the hall. He soon heard a soft 'pop' and looked around instinctively. Dobby the house elf started hitting his head against the wall. Colin quietly advanced on him.
"What are you doing?" he asked Dobby. Colin knew that Dobby was well- acquainted with Harry and hoped the little house-elf may be able to help him take more pictures of his hero.
"Oh Dobby mustn't be here. I has come to talk to Harry Potter. I has the gillyweed for his next challenge" Dobby muttered. Colin's eyes lit up. If he helped the house-elf find Harry, he'd be his hero. He imagined Harry taking pictures of him and getting autographs from him.
"I can help," Colin said cheerily "The dorms are this way." They walked down the hall in silence until they came upon a strange door. Colin was about to push it open when Dobby stopped him
"No. Mister mustn't open this door. We is trying to find Harry Potter. That room only has beds for Winky." The elf said as forcefully as possible, but Colin ignored him and hurried into the room. It was his wildest fantasy come true.
A whole room full of Harry Potters!
They were all wandering about and when they saw Colin, they excitedly posed for him to take pictures. One by one, the thousands of Potters lined up in various costumes posing for Colin. He couldn't wait to get back to his dormitory and develop the photos.
He had taken nearly one hundred photos when he felt a cold hand on his back. And he jumped, dropping his camera on the ground.
"Mister Creevey, what ever are you doing out of bed at this hour?" Professor McGonagall asked in an exasperated and confused voice. When she saw all the Potters, her face twitched into an amused sort of smile at Colin's fascination with Harry.
McGonagall lead all the Harrys and Colin down to the Transfiguration room for their detentions; trying to pack the little classroom with them all. When she failed, she finally let Colin go, and made all the Harrys disappear. Little Colin had lots of work to do with all his photos.
"'Arry, I adore ze pink feather boa, where did you get zis?" Fleur Delacour asked him the next morning.
"Hey Potter, doing another photo shoot anytime soon?" Malfoy asked him while pretending to snap pictures of him.
"Ten points from Gryffindor for your choice of fashion, Potter." Snape muttered. They were huddled, with the whole school around a big stack of pictures. Harry got to the middle and realized they were all of him.
"Room of Requirement, photos, Me..." he said under his breath. Then, he put two and two together "COLIN!"
